After finishing his high school, Wester decided to join FAU. In the span of 4 years at the Florida Atlantic Owls, he played 45 games and recorded 252 receptions, 2,703 receiving yards, and 21 touchdowns. Not only that, he was also recognized as the American Athletic Conference Special Teams Player of the Year. Wester’s most impressive performance with the Owls was against Clemson, where he became FAU’s all-time receptions leader with a five-yard pass and recorded 12 receptions. His impressive stats in high school and college helped him make his own place at the Buffaloes.
