The Ole Miss Rebels team has one of the most talented players especially when it comes to the quarterback, Jaxson Chase Dart . Showing a great and successful high school history, academics, and accomplishments, Dart is an example of hard and striving work. Before arriving at Ole Miss, he played his high school football at Corner Canyon High School and emerged as the best football player.

It was at high school that Dart worked hard and indeed did excellently well. He was awarded the Gatorade National High School Football Player of the Year in 2020 and Max Prep National Player of the Year. His last year in Corner Canyon High School one can say was one of his best years since he threw for a national best of 4691 yards and a state record 67 touchdowns.  Dart also did exemplary in the running as he accomplished 1,195 yards with 12 touchdowns on the field. He played a pivotal role in the Corner Canyon team and aided it to a season where they did not lose any game and won the state championship. “Jaxson Dart’s senior season was one of the best we’ve ever seen,” said a local sports analyst. “His leadership and skill were evident in every game.”

A high school star: Corner Canyon and beyond

Besides football, at Corner Canyon High School much has been achieved by Dart. He also played baseball in which he was awarded as the all-state two times. This multi-sport activity shows that Dart is a versatile outgoing person and an athlete at that. His high school major is in General Business. This home boy from Draper, UT was born on May 13, 2003. He attended Roy High School for his first three years of High School before transferring to Corner Canyon.

Apart from his talent in the field of sports, Dart has shown good performance in his studies. At Ole Miss, he has boasted of his scholarly accomplishments for instance he was on the SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll in both the 2022 and 2023 football seasons. He has also ranked the Chancellor’s Honor Roll in Spring 2022 and Spring 2024 and Dean’s Honor Roll in Fall 2022 and Spring 2023. Also, Dart made the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll in the Fall of 2023. From his academic results, one can see that he is a dedicated student who manages his time between sports and books well.

Dart, showed that there was athletic blood in the family; Dad, Brandon, played as a safety at Utah.
