To see the track record and popularity, you may think Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter might be playing like leaders in the Colorado Buffaloes team.

However, Deion Sanders introduced a unique system to motivate all of his players. If you follow the Buffs very closely, you will see “L” and “D” patches on their jerseys. This reflects Coach Prime’s new way of rewarding players for their performance as leaders. Let me tell you what these patches mean.

He mentioned that “L” stands for “Leaders,” which is why Shedeur wears an “L” on his Colorado jersey. He also stated that these patches are not interchangeable. However, he was unclear about the difference between such patches.

The most intriguing fact is that Deion also wore a “JC” patch jersey on his game day. On the same show, he said the patch is basically to honor his former Florida State equipment manager.
