The excitement of the Orange Bowl is only just kicking off. This highly anticipated CFP semifinal game between Notre Dame and Penn State is set to give you an adrenaline rush. As fans, we all love that feeling—chugging your favorite drink while watching the action unfold. It’s even better when you get to keep the cup or can as a souvenir, just like they did at the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl. Makes the whole experience way more memorable, right? So can we expect something similar with the Orange Bowl?
Don’t. It might sound like a turnoff for some, but sadly, there’s nothing that special. As RedditCFB reported on X on January 9, “No team-themed alcohol beverages here at the Orange Bowl, unlike the Citrus Bowl.” Still, if you’re wondering what the themed drinks for Notre Dame and Penn State would be, check it out.

The lack of a bowl themed souvenir cup has fans disappointed. As the report further stated, “Speaking of beverages, souvenir cups cost $12.75 and yet they’re just generic cups with Hard Rock Stadium branding… If you’re asking $13 for a souvenir cup, at least make it bowl themed.” After all, everyone wants a memento from the infamous Orange Bowl.
As the post highlighted, a 32 oz. Souvenir soda costs $12.75. They also have Fountain Soda (24 oz.) at $6.50 Aquafina Water (16 oz.) and SWOON Sugarfree Lemonades (12 oz.) at $6.00 each. Unfortunately for alcohol lovers, they only have non-souvenir options.
The most expensive on the list is the $14.00 Heineken can (16 oz.) while the most affordable one is Domestic Draft Beer at $12.00. Bud Light can (16 oz.) and Premium Draft Beer are also available for $13.00 each. Fans would’ve loved to take more home, but they’ll have to settle for the live experience before them.

Penn State fans dominate the Orange Bowl
The Penn State fan base just displayed how supportive they are of James Franklin and the Nittany Lions. After all, they’re just one game away from the National Championship game! They outgained Notre Dame seven times over in the number of tickets bought. So, it was a sight when thousands of fans from Penn State arrived for the historic Orange Bowl game inside Hard Rock Stadium. And it’s not just a figure of speech. Harrisburg International Airport confirmed that over 1,000 Penn State fans flew to Miami for this Big game.
James Franklin was confident in the energy of their fanbase as he said ahead of the matchup, “We’re expecting a huge crowd in Miami and I challenge everyone to wear white and White Out energy, we want that place rocking.” The pregame buildup is already setting the mood for the game. A certain Penn State fan called the tailgating experience a “once in a lifetime” opportunity.
