Does LaJohntay Wester's EA Sports rating reflect his true potential on the field? Let's hear your thoughts!

The last game in the series to be released before CFB 25 was NCAA Football 14, so fans had to wait 11 years for a new installment. Due to the development of NIL, this year’s game would be the first with actual player names. If you’re anything like me, one of your first actions will be to look up the player ratings for your preferred team.

However, when it comes to EA Sports College Football 25, Colorado is among the top teams to play with. With two of the highest-rated players in the league, the Buffaloes are the second-ranked Big 12 team. Albeit, not every member of the Colorado football team is happy with their performance as a whole. And with good reason. But some Buffs were rated just right!

Among them, CU Buffs wide receiver, Lajohntay Wester earned an overall rating of  85, which is somewhere in the middle between good and bad. While some support his ranking, others argue that he can achieve even more. If you look at his track record, you will see that, in 2020, as a freshman, he recorded  17 catches for 114 yards and a touchdown at Florida Atlantic University.

Following such a magnificent performance, he got the EA rating, which is the same as Jimmy Horn Jr.’s EA rating. Both of them are incredible performers for Buffs. But the most intriguing fact is that receivers make up four of the Buffs’ eight best-rated players. This provides Shedeur Sanders with a number of outstanding targets.

Standing there, Wester has a quite good fanbase which can be demonstrated through his NIL valuation. According to On3 NIL Valuation, his NIL valuation is around $316K. Furthermore, the star athlete has quite a good reach on social media platforms. Therefore, there is a chance to improve his rating in the future.
