Kadyn Proctor's EA Sports ratings are off the charts! Is he the next big thing in college football?

Alabama’s left tackle, Kadyn Proctor, has been at the top of the headlines since the new season kicked off, but not for any good reason. Crimson Tide stormed through the season opener with a banger win against Western Kentucky, but they received a blow in their offensive line as Proctor dropped off from the pregame warmups with a concerning shoulder injury. Despite the initial confusion and complexity surrounding the situation, coach Kalen DeBoer finally seems to be optimistic about Proctor’s quick return, a ball game that fans eagerly await.

Before the young phenom heals up and reverts to the pavilion, let’s quickly take a look at his EA Sports ratings to better understand his potential to escalate the bar in the rest of the games.

Kadyn Proctor has been shaping up to be a generational star. Although his journey with the Crimson Tide was no short of a downturn, he barely failed to bring his incredible athleticism and the benefit of the mammoth size into the play, leading the team upward in the scoreboard. He had a stopgap in between when he signed with Lowa, serving as a symbol of the ever-changing and chaotic reality of college football. But soon, the 6-foot-8 realized he had no reason to stay with Lowa except for his homesickness and also could latch on to why Alabama was special and irreplaceable. The outshot was pretty surmisable. He made a hangdog return and shortened his mistake, building a formidable offensive line throughout the off-season.

Now, as a token of acknowledgement for his immense talent and relentless contribution to the Bama’s collective growth, EA rendered an excellent overall rating of 87 out of the top 100 college football players list. Proctor landed a 9th spot among the Alabama players gracing the prestigious list.

Coach Kalen DeBoer’s latest take on Kadyn Proctor’s injury came off as a breather

Coach DeBoer had a very minimal response to the injury matter. When he was asked about it during the latest edition of ‘Hey Coach’, the Alabama HC initially tried to slyly escape the context. Later, he just said that the situation is day-to-day for now, and the entire team is constantly checking in on the developments with a smart and careful approach.

However, as time progressed, DeBoer opened up more about the current state, and thankfully, it’s all positive. He’s doing well, doing a good job, and was heading in a really good direction right at the very end of last week and turned the corner I think there, and is in a good spot here, done a nice job here in the first two days of practice.” DeBoer said on the SEC coach’s teleconference.

It will interesting to see if Proctor crops up on the field soon, filling up the severe tackle issues the team has persistently been facing. What’s your take on Kaydon Proctor’s EA Sports Ratings in College Football 25? Let us know in the comments.
