The Texas Longhorns are ranked No. 5 in the EA Sports Ratings in College Football 25. EA has declared that the Longhorns boast the No. 4 offense and their No. 8 defense.

As the new season has kicked off, all the major football programs want their best players on the field. Similarly, the Longhorns will be considering Cook as their wide receiver no. 1 because he showed the coaches a glimpse of his potential over 14 games in 2023. He recorded eight catches for 136 yards. His remarkable performance includes 84 receptions for an impressive 1,469 yards and 22 touchdowns. Overall in his high school career, he made 165 receptions for 2,965 receiving yards and 50 touchdowns. Not only that, he also earned the prestigious title of the Dallas Morning News Offensive Player of the Year.

Additionally, his growing high school career also helped him earn a spot in the 2023 Under Armour All-American Game, which is a great achievement as a college footballer. His impressive performance agin helped him gain attention from top college programs. He decided to play for the University of Texas as a five-star recruit. In 2023, in his debut game, he made an impact with two catches for 26 yards. With his high school success, the WR is all set to show his worth in the 2024 season.
