Out of all things, hardly did Deion Sanders expect that the Colorado Buffaloes will have to fight against nature. But again! It’s college football that never misses a chance to amuse with bitter surprises. While the Buffs are keeping their eyes fixed on the sky, their alum came up with the much-needed boost.
According to their trusty confidant, CU Buffs alumni, the weatherman would definitely unleash its ugly side on Buffs’ big day, but the mess would have its own sweet rewards. And what about Deion’s prep for rainy action? The Buffs HC seems to be ‘hey, chill out’ mood!

The Buffs are in trouble but Buffs alum Matt McChesney will not give them the moral boost? Next to impossible! On September 20, the latest episode of the Zero 2 Sixty with Matt McChesney podcast, the host tried to focus on the positives. From the very beginning, McChesney made it clear to Deion’s army that “this could be an ugly game.” But that does not mean that all hopes are exhausted. Well, it’s all about mindset. Now that the critics think that it’s impossible for the Buffs to throw the pigskin in the rain, it comes off as “ridiculous” to McChesney.
To him, it’s all exaggeration to make Deion and crew tensed about their new enemy, rain. The Buffs alum stated, “It’s not like it’s going to be swing sideways and 70 miles/hour winds it’s just going to rain. So it’s just a little rain I think everybody will be okay.” However, the host has been kind enough to point out the essential factors for Deion and Co. to tread carefully.

In order to reap the fruits from the dirty puddle that the rain might leave in Folsom Field, the Buffs must be on full alert mode about their pigskin timing and limiting turnovers. Meanwhile, Coach Prime did not wait for McChesney to come up with the clarity on the weather scene.
Deion Sanders protects the vibe
Even before McChesney, the weatherman update already reached Deion. On September 17, Coach Prime was facing the media when all of a sudden a reporter tried to break his morales. But he forgot who he tried to be messing up with. So when the media personnel hit Deion up with the update that September 21 is going to be a rainy day, the Buffs HC hit it back at the reporter with a counter question, “Who do you use straight up?”
When he got to know that the source was a local meteorologist, Deion could no longer control himself. He then turned his sarcastic mode on and came up with a sharp reply stating how weather reports from local meteorologists often slip into his blacklist, “There you go…I got 5169. The joke has been accurate.”

Deion Sanders then went on to protect the Buffs from any sort of bad juju. Instead, he turned to manifestation, “I’m one of those good weather man. When you say 60% I say 40% that it won’t.” After all, they will have to save the sinking ship after their soul-crushing loss against the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Besides, the face-off against the Baylor Bears will end the 14-year hiatus.
While you got the clarity of how the Buffs are going to ace the game, no matter if it rains, you can enjoy some in-depth discussion on NIL and NFL on the Think Tank podcast with none other than Doug Sanders!
