Football often revolves around the crazy chills after a dominant victory, numb discomfort after a gusty loss, and sometimes some little cute moments outta athletes’ lives that blur the line between a sport and a Harlequin book. Crazy, right? Wait, it’s even crazier when your seniors and peers are getting their hands on some hilarious memes about it. Kansas City Chiefs Tight End is facing the same sweet trouble right now after NFL legend Warren Sapp crapped a quip about the internet and to spice it up, his daughter chimed in with a one-word approval.
Kelce fielded hundreds of questions during his hour-long podium session at the Caesars Superdome for Super Bowl Opening Night — and guess what, a chunk of these questions was about his intense romance with pop singer Taylor Swift. It’s no secret that the Chiefs’ sensation, the three Super Bowl-winning tight end is living his fairytale love story with the music icon Taylor Swift. Swirling rumors about them keep on suggesting that a wedding bell is nearer than we think.
The idea first sparked when Swift flaunted an infinity ring during a family dinner a few months back. Some fans took it as a potential precursor to the engagement. This eventually culminated in the insane idea that if the Chiefs got a victory at the Super Bowl, Travis might get down on his knees and ask his girl for the marriage in a picturesque moment.

But expectations are set to hurt more often than not. Fans plotted the entire movie on their head. Travis’ shy reply, ”Wouldn’t you like to know?” to the million dollar question asked by People set the tone even more for a blast at night. However, the scoreboard turned out to be a villain in their doomed cameo moment. The one and only lady luck of the footballer perhaps waited with a bated breath in the VIP audience space to see his boy fly high and take the match in his favor. But Eagles said, hold my beer! The Chiefs capped off the game with a disappointing 40-22 after a huge back and forth. Kelce’s proposal plot remained under the shadow. Addressing the tension, Warren Sapp posted a photo of an on-field expression of Travis and captioned it, “I was supposed to propose tonight.” Sapp’s daughter reposted the hilarious pun with a “LOL DAD” reaction.

Despite getting booed by some lunatic Chiefs fans, Taylor will continue to be the constant support in Travis’ career. From attending the very first game at Arrowhead Stadium on September 24, 2023, Swift has now been to a total of 23 Chiefs games. So, for the haters, she is not a bad break in Travis’ professional feat, not at all.
But, Sapp thinks she is reaping the benefits of his boyfriend’s high-flying career at least, but not in a creepy way. Don’t just get it wrong, Sapp is totally fine with the kids turning the tides of the off-field romance amidst the mundane of yards and touchdowns. He rather defended the singer-player duo in the wake of a nasty brickbat.

Warren Sapp batted for Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s on-field romance amidst growing controversy
Pop megastar Taylor Swift’s rumored endorsement of Joe Biden in the 2020 election had taken the world to the storm. A chunk of the republican fans claimed the playoffs were rigged to get the Chiefs to the Super Bowl for Swift to bring more eyes to Biden. Sapp sharply disagreed.
Sapp, who played nine years with the Buccaneers, including the Super Bowl-winning season of 2002, believes Swift’s enormous fame is fueled by the fact she’s dating a blueblood like Travis Kelce and it’s nothing to do with Biden or any political motive.
“Wasn’t Jessica Simpson jumping around for Romo?” Sapp made a comparison to the former Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo and his then-girl, Jessica. “She didn’t take over. That player has to be good enough. We never saw Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo … because he wasn’t that good,” the NFL biggie drew the difference.

“Get over it. Taylor Swift is beautiful for everything involved and her man is ba–ing. There is nothing wrong with something soft and beautiful on the TV at a football game, especially when her man is putting up 11 catches,” Sapp concluded his take on the crazy romance of the NFL town. So, don’t just let the meme fool you. Deep down, Sapp is a huge fan of what Taylor and Travis have.
