Home/College Football

It’s finally Week 13. We have a great slate of games to look forward to. Nothing bigger than No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes taking on No. 5 Indiana Hoosiers. A game to guarantee a playoff spot and a battle between two high-profile coaches. Hoosiers are entering the game undefeated. 10-0! On the other hand, Ohio State is going into the game with back-to-back four victories and a clear vision to protect their No. 2 rank in the college football playoffs. But before that, we have bad news to share with the fans who are going to watch the game live at Ohio Stadium in Colombus.

An unfortunate accident before the big game is going to cause serious trouble for fans. The X account of the Buckeyes announced the latest traffic news. “Due to a jackknifed semi truck at 315 & Goodale, State Route 315 southbound is closed on the north side at the 270/315 interchange to 315/670.” The tweet has appropriate instructions to follow.

The accident took place in the morning, around 6:30 am, and fans were urged to make alternate plans to reach near the campus. A jackknife accident involving a tractor-trailer caused significant delays on the highway just before the Goodale Street exit. All the lanes on State Route 315 beyond North Broadway Street were closed. Now, after a few hours, the situation is under control, and fans can safely travel to the stadium.

Officials responded promptly to the incident, successfully removing the truck within two hours. The freeway was then reopened to the public approximately 45 minutes later, allowing traffic to resume. The committees understand the importance of the game, as we are in week 13, and their effective response minimized disappointment and ensured that fans could continue their journey with minimal delays. Moving forward, let’s discuss how many times Indiana football has beaten Ohio State.

A battle for Big 10 supremacy and playoff spot

Will Indiana continue their winning streak? This season, they have exceeded all expectations. Head coach Curt Cigneti joined the program with new hopes. On the other hand, an Ohio State victory could improve their chances for the Big Ten championship. At the same time, the matchup also carries significant importance for the college football playoffs.

Did you know that Indiana has not defeated Ohio State since 1988? Yes! The last time they secured a 41-7 victory was at their home ground in Bloomington, Indiana. This was Indiana’s second consecutive victory over Ohio State. In 1987, they defeated them by 31-10.
