In a breathtaking back and forth, Florida football gains the upper hand over the Rebels, continuing their rebounded momentum. Of course, DJ Lagway remains in the driving seat in quashing the Ole Miss playoff dream. The other quarterback who made the talking, but for all the wrong reasons, is Jackson Dart. The Rebels poster boy made error after error to blow up Ole Miss’ slim chance to get back at the game. Ultimately, the Rebels fell by 17-24. In a trolling spree under an Instagram post, fans didn’t hesitate to get under his skin.

Dart played the one-man spoiler into the Ole Miss’ playoff hope. Dart left the field with two interceptions and two touchdowns, throwing for 323 yards on 24-for-41 passing. He also mounted 71 yards rushing on 14 carries. But everything went in vain as he wasted an opportunity by overthrowing Watkins on a 40-yard pass that could have been a TD. Just within a few minutes, he made another loose throw. But the ultimate terrible move is still Dart being picked off in the end zone, letting the Gators capitalize on a 39-yard pass attempt.

With this third loss in the season, Lane Kiffin almost closed out their national championship hope for good. Dart’s pre-game speech now came out as hollow. The impact QB, during an interview with the Andy &Ari ON3, bragged on their blowout Georgia win while noting the class win against a top team of the country would give them a much-needed ego boost ahead of the week 13 fight.

Addressing their past woes, the QB phenom noted, ”You know, you have those thoughts but, you know, the best thing that you can do is, honestly, just have the mindset of just trying to go 1-0 each and every week.”. The strategy failed to deliver, and so did the promoter.

Under a post-game IG post, they asked the most sought-after question: ”What is Dart doing out there😂?”. Another fan asked the fan but with a different emotion: ”What is Dart doing😭?”. Well, we all were searching for the answer through the entire dogfight but got zero hope. They roasted the useless on-field connection between WR Juice Wells and Dart.

”Juice Wells and Jaxson Dart communicate the challenge (level impossible),” one of the fans dropped a pun. Another user simply gave the flower to DJ Lagway just as we should, noting, ”Dart washed, Lagway era.”

The week 13 upset was certainly an unbearable bump to Kiffin and the whole team, but it wasn’t unforeseen at all. Football analysts have long seen the mess brewing up as Florida, after hitting a sharp dip in the season took a U-turn against LSU last week. It was quite obvious they wouldn’t look to revert to that low again.

The noon game humidity factor went in the Gators’ favor and most importantly, the man, the savior, DJ Lagway, used an apparatus not to let his hurt hamstrings come between the heat of the run.
