There’s no doubt that TreVeyon Henderson is easily one of the most explosive running backs out there. Henderson has been carrying the ball for the Buckeyes for several seasons and snagged the first-team All-Big Ten honors last season. A former five-star prospect out of Hopewell High School, Virginia, Henderson racked up over 4,000 rushing yards and 50 touchdowns.
TreVeyon wrapped up the last season with 156 carries while blasting through for 926 yards and hitting the end zone 11 times. The star RB made waves in the gridiron when he returned to Ohio to prove himself despite getting drafted early in the 2024 NFL Draft. Henderson got his first taste of an NIL sponsorship in 2021 when he got sponsored by Arby’s for their #ArbysRBs campaign. Soon after, Henderson raced his way up on On3’s NIL ranks (and Ohio State record books) and inked another lucrative NIL deal with Ricart Automotive. In exchange for using his name, image, and likeness to promote Ricart Automotive, an auto dealership based in Columbus, Ohio, Henderson was handed over the key to a brand-new Chevy Camaro RS. The same year, the star RB surpassed Archie Griffin’s freshman record against Tulsa, emerging as the third-best rushing performance in Buckeyes football history.
TreVeyon also partnered with the apparel brand Homage and got his name on cool player t-shirts. The OSU running back inked a deal with the classic trading cards brand Leaf Trading Cards, which released a limited edition card featuring TreVeyon. Henderson signed a lucrative NIL deal with FTX, a cryptocurrency exchange company, in 2022. Over the years, the elite RB has secured multiple NIL deals with renowned companies. Henderson’s NIL portfolio includes the likes of big names such as Chipotle, Klarna, The City Apartments, Kane Footwear, and GenWealthOne. TreVeyon also hosted a youth football club last year with the help of Buckeye tight end Gee Scott Jr., Olentangy football head coach Wade Bartholomew, and Centric Sports Group. The elite running back Henderson was happy and proud to be a part of the youth camp.
“Just being able to interact with the kids and shine the Lord’s light onto them, his love, his joy, his kindness toward them, and just try to make as many interactions as I can with those kids, man,” Henderson said. “I’m just thankful that I was able to do so.” The Buckeyes RB and Lakeesha’s little man, TreVeyon, also made his mama retire from her two jobs as soon as he started making a good amount from the NIL deals. “Oh yeah, being here at The Ohio State University and being a running back here, yeah, I make lots of money. So, whatever my mom needs, whatever my grandma needs, whatever those two need, I send it right to them,” said a smiling Henderson.

TreVeyon Henderson, who is returning to OSU, will be joined by the top-rated transfer running back Quinshon Judkins. Henderson, along with Judkins, would not only harden the Buckeyes’ offensive line but also form what could be the most dangerous one-two punch in the entire landscape of college football this fall.
Henderson and Judkins have already bonded really well throughout their time at the camp. “We are so close,” Henderson said after Ohio State’s sixth training camp practice. “I am so thankful God brought Quinshon here. We are helping each other. We are sharpening each other. God has been helping me to love him. I’m just thankful he’s here. It’s a great opportunity to come closer to him and build that brotherhood. It’s a long season and to be able to share the load with Quinshon is amazing. He’s such a great back. He is so, so talented. He’s going to be a huge part of the offense. Quinshon is really talented.” What do you think about the explosive duo of Henderson and Judkins? Share your thoughts in the comment below.
