Can Jimmy Horn Jr. and Travis Hunter lead the Buffs to an unstoppable season under Coach Prime?

How long were you gonna hide it? Jimmy Horn Jr. probably had one of the worst games of his career when the Buffs went up against Kansas State. With barely hitting 20 yards on the board along with 3 receptions, Jimmy Horn Jr. was quickly out of the game because of an ankle injury. This guy always had a heck of a lot of talent. Everyone knew he’s gonna crack it big when he managed to catch the 69-yard pass from Shedeur Sanders against NDSU.

Now, with Horn Jr. announcing his comeback, our 2-way star Travis Hunter is in a really good mood. “Brudda,” Hunter wrote on his Instagram story while sharing the latest post by the #5 WR. With Jimmy coming back, the entire WR depth for Deion Sanders and Co. is bound to change drastically. Both of these guys have managed to push the Colorado passing game to the 7th spot on the list.

Across the nation, the Buffs stand tall at a 336 yards-average passing offense. We have seen how Horn Jr. managed to impress us during the NDSU banger with 198 yards under his belt, along with a massive touchdown. And for Hunter? Well, no matter how much we compliment this dude, it never feels enough.

Travis has been the key offensive pillar for Coach Prime. In 3 back-to-back games, Hunter has not only managed to break a record but also broke all bars to reach the top Heisman candidate list. The glimpses of his greatness were first spotted when the Buffs hit the Rocky Mountain Showdown. With Hunter bringing in 13 catches, 100 yards, and 2 touchdowns along with a defensive interception against the Rams, this dude broke a 26-year-old record.

And if that wasn’t enough, against UCF, this dude managed to crush the entire run game and even did the iconic Heisman pose after intercepting a pass from Knights QB KJ Jefferson. Buffs fans cannot wait to see what these guys manage to get done against Arizona. With Shedeur Sanders also being in peak performance condition, this should be an easy clutch for Coach Prime. And if things do start going south, then Deion Sanders does have one secret weapon.

Coach Prime’s new offensive starter

The 3-star player coming from Santa Ana is someone you should keep an eye on. The Arizona game could be Jordan Onovughe’s debut for the Buffs and we cannot wait to see what he does. As a senior, this guy has already managed to rack in over 500 yards along with 4 touchdowns.

Having him on the offensive depth chart will give Deion Sanders the edge he needs. Shedeur has already spoken quite highly about Jordan. “I don’t feel nervous about him even being in because of the way he practices,” Shedeur had pointed out. WRs coach Jason Phillips and his new wideout room can be the game-changer for the Buffs. Make sure you guys tune in for the weekend showdown.
