After all, fathers can’t feel their kids’ pains as much as mothers do. So after knowing very well what a rollercoaster ride this season has been for Shedeur, mom Pilar just glows brighter with pride. Deion’s ex-wife is now willing to go to any extent to see the QB raise the Heisman trophy. On November 2, she made the most use of social media, turning her IG into a hype machine. Posting a reel on Shedeur, Pilar posted it with the caption “Yep!” The hashtags she chose have been equally interesting, like “#shedeurforheisman,” “#legendary.” And what did the reel consist of?

Some impressive slides that are too hard for the fans to ignore. One was in honor of Shedeur’s big win as it read “HULA BOWL OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK,” while the other was about the Buffs QB’s other big highlight of the season, “DAVEY O’BRIEN AWARD CLASS OF 2024.” Not just this.
To raise the Shedeur craze among the fans, the proud mommy attached Shedeur’s rap Perfect Timing to the reel. Maybe Pat McAfee praising Hunter and him leading the Heisman charts came under Pilar’s radar. So she too became the one to promote her son since the College GameDay host did not bother to acknowledge the QB’s hard work. But does she know that her son keeps himself away from such competition? During an interview after the Cincinnati game, the QB made a bold statement, “I just want Travis to win.” But the Buffs fans are not willing to put anyone other than Shedeur in the winner’s seat.

The Shedeur Sanders enthusiasts huddled up in the comment section to further the QB’s Heisman hype. The Buffs QB has fought his way to what he is today, gaining national attention since his time at JSU, earning honors such as the SWAC Offensive Player of the Year, and the Deacon Jones Trophy. So a fan commented, “He deserves it.” The Hail Mary pass that the Buffs QB gifted fans with this season has been the turning point as one enthusiastic fan commented, “I believe it.”
Now that Shedeur has improved from his last year’s stats, achieving a 73.3% completion rate made another fan comment, “Legendary Shedeur! Has my Vote!🔥❤️👑🪙🙏.” More than the Buffs QB himself, another fan gives credit to the parents and he seems to be too excited for the Hunter vs Shedeur tough competition, which was last witnessed when Reggie Bush and Matt Leinert played for USC, “I love how u raise and lift your kids up. If the board is real about the award then they know what’s right. It will be the first time 2 players from the same team is invited. Bush and Leinert was the last.”

Coming off with 2,591 passing yards and 21 touchdowns, it was because of the QB that Colorado has a 6-2 record. This was enough to woo a hard-core fan who commented, “Sheduerèrrr. My guy.” Time for Shedeur to give Pilar reasons to be prouder and prove his fans right!
