“They finally realized what I already knew.” This is some Grand Master Oogway-type wisdom. Travis Hunter didn’t only deliver. He swooped in, put up a historical performance that no one has seen since Champ Bailey’s golden era from 1998, and just flew off with the Heisman. 3 picks with a returning touchdown in 2 different games? No one out there has done something like this in the last 20 years of FBS history. But would it all even be possible if it wasn’t for one single woman? Moving from Florida to Georgia and going from sleeping on the floor to a single-room dingy hotel, she went through all of that so that Hunter could be what he is now.

“What they said was my biggest mistake turned out to be the biggest blessing,” you tell ’em, Ferrante Edmonds! If it wasn’t for Hunter’s mother pushing through all that adversity to give her son what he needs to be successful, then we all probably would’ve never seen this 2-way star ripping the gridiron apart. As the Alamo Bowl bell rang, Edmonds had 2 simple words of encouragement for her boy and all the others from Buffs. “Let’s Gooooo,” Edmonds wrote on her story while sharing the Bowl game announcement from the official Buffs IG account.

When Edmonds found out that she was pregnant with Hunter, she was quite young. She decided to keep the baby despite people calling it a “mistake,” and look what we have now. With Alamo here, Hunter is coming back to play for Deion Sanders.

Where other senior athletes call off Bowl games, this dude said, “F– k it, we roll.” Well, he did joke about wanting a $5 million paycheck. But we all know how much he loves annoying Deion Sanders, so that is fine.

And joining him would be his mate, Shedeur Sanders. Got that Golden Arm and now wants to seal his QB1 spot on the NFL draft with the Bowl game win. Shedeur is in phenomenal shape and if the rhythm hits right, then he and Hunter are going to rip apart the Cougars. Because, although you might think this is about winning the game, it is more about getting revenge.

Will BYU get trampled?

What’s your perspective on:

Can Deion Sanders and the Buffs finally get their revenge against BYU at the Alamo Bowl?

“Y’all gotta remember that this team that, you know, beat Houston, so we couldn’t go to the championship. Let’s make them pay for that,” and that is all Shilo Sanders had to say to ignite the fire in everyone’s heart. When BYU got the W over Houston, the Buffs’ chances of making it to the Big 12 title were squashed.

Now, Deion Sanders has got another shot at squaring up with the folks who stopped Colorado from a title game run!! This entire season of college football has been about revenge. Texas got 2 shots at beating Georgia, and now the Bucks are getting the same against Oregon.

It’s only fair if Coach Prime gets his, right? But do not take the Cougars lightly. They know where to hit. Out of the 12 games, BYU has managed to stop almost all of their opponents to a 25-point average. Their zone coverage and turnover ratio are impressive as h-ll.

20 interceptions for the entire season are wild. With Colorado being focused mainly on their run game and long passes, BYU’s defense could end up becoming the perfect antivenom for Coach Prime’s Hunter x Shedeur poison.
