He is coming back home. September 30th was a wild day for HC Antonio Pierce and the Raiders, with WR Davante Adams requesting a trade rather than remaining on the team, the Las Vegas Raiders had to finalize something. And so they did. With the Raiders getting a 3rd round conditional pick for the 2025 drafts, Davante Adams is going straight to the Jets. Now this is massive news, not only for the Jets fans but also the Packers fans.

Buffs WR Travis Hunter’s fiancee Leanna Lenee was quick to drop her surprising reaction to the entire news. While sharing a post by Overtimeszn, Lenee wrote in her story, “All Packers fans are screaming abt this.” Rightfully so. Davante Adams cooked when he was with the Green Bay Packers. Take the January 2020 win over the Seahawks. Adams set a playoff record during that game.

Catching 8 passes along with 2 touchdowns and marking a franchise record for the Packers, Adams took his team to a 28-23 win and reached the NFC Championships. With the Jets grabbing the WR, the entire offense of the team will be impacted hugely.

Now, the fun part is, with Adams in, A-rod is going to have one heck of a time. If you were unaware, Davanate and Aaron Rodgers go way back. Starting from the Packers, both had made career-changing plays and could probably be marked as one of the greatest duos in the NFL. Now, the Jets have it all so how will the rest of the season turn out for them?

This dynamic duo had a massive impact on the Packers back in the day. While fans will say the Raiders got the short end of the stick in this bargain, Jets fans on the other hand would be eating good.
