Fame is a weird thing. You get support; you get love and all, but the moment you make a single mistake, people will come down on you hard. See, we have been following Travis Hunter and his love story with Leanna Lenee since the entire “TRX” gifting scene. You know what was funny about all that? Hunter got a $140,000 Dodge Ram TRX as a birthday gift from Lenee. Now a lot of people were happy about this, but there was this small crowd who started hating on Lenee. Many accused that she bought it using Travis Hunter’s money. This was funny because Lenee is more than successful in her own right. She is a content creator, and she also graduated with a degree in English education and business.

See, the hate eventually died down. Hunter announced his engagement, and everyone was happy once again. But then that on-field incident happened. You know, Lenee pushing Hunter away scene? Yeah, so people speculated that just because Hunter smiled at some random cheerleaders, Lenee got “too insecure”. Then came the Heisman incident where Lenee didn’t exactly “act right” as per people when Hunter won the trophy. All of this mixed-up has made people look at Lenee from the wrong angle. However, for once, she has found a very unlikely ally. “I want to also call out all this drama between Travis and Leanna… She’s been there since day one, for Travis,” Justin Alexander pointed out on his Instagram.

The engagement is almost here, and it is about time the couple start picking out their wedding dress. So, Justin Alexander was the perfect pick, and for once, it is refreshing that someone other than Hunter is out there defending Lenee.

See, we all know that there are always 2 sides to the story. Yeah, maybe Lenee should’ve been “more present” during the Heisman scene or even during the celebration, but she has already proven her love for Hunter.

Remember the entire liver injury Hunter had to go through last year? Yeah, if Lenee wanted to leave this guy, she would’ve done that back then. Instead, she stuck around with him, and now, when suddenly she makes a single mistake, the entire internet breaks down upon her. Every relationship has some problems but, as Robert Griffin III pointed out, “I just think the assumption saying that his relationship is a mistake is already bad in the first place.” Let’s leave all this behind and talk about something more positive, right?

When’s the wedding?

Now, let’s take y’all back to when we first got a look at the wedding invite. This was something fun. Back in July, one of Lenee’s close friends took to her Instagram story to share a snap of the wedding invite and to congratulate Hunter and Lenee on it.

Back then, we still didn’t know about the date. However, the story leaked it. May 24th, 2025. It’s almost here, folks, and we cannot wait to see how big this event is going to be. The date is also perfect because Hunter is getting drafted in March.
