Brother, Travis Hunter is taking his oath too literally. Travis Hunter made it clear that he was coming for everyone’s throat a few days back in the Outta Pocket show. “Nobody can do what I do,” Hunter said proudly. Yeah, tell them, boy. But wait, Travis Hunter did what next? It looks like this dude is done being humble cause my man directly started firing shots at random players, and the one who was caught in the crossfire was Ashton Jeanty.
Now, like they say, when you put your hands in the jaws of a tiger, you better watch out cause it’s gonna bite back. But wait, it was Jeanty who fired back? What the heck is even happening? The Boise State RB took to his Instagram account to flaunt some of his pictures with quite the caption; “You can’t kill the boogeyman🫣 #hei2man.” Props for keeping it stylish. But the most interesting part of it all was the clap back Hunter got, not from Jeanty, but his girlfriend. “ik the a gap hate to see you coming,” Gabrielle Miller wrote in the comment section of the post.

Boy, oh boy, is the season getting heated. Thank god Hunter had a change of heart after his recovery (from the injury he sustained during the Wildcats game). But onto a more serious topic, if we give you the pick, who would you think makes for the best Heisman candidate?
See, from a “style” and “performance” standpoint, it’s safe to say that Hunter definitely has the lead. Come on, ain’t no way Jeanty is pulling an interception and running the football back up by 38 yards. Not just once, but twice in 2 different games (Rams and Knights).
But if we are coming down to stats, well, the table kind of turns in Jeanty’s favor. Ashton is sitting on top of the food chain right now. This dude has already managed to grab 1200+ rushing yards along with 17 touchdowns. All of this is in just 6 games. While we will never really see Boise State go up against the Buffs and finally prove who is the top dog, we can say one thing for certain; both of these guys are on their way to breaking the QB domination at the Heisman. Unless they get stopped by a familiar name.
Shedeur Sanders ain’t out of the list

Travis Hunter vs. Ashton Jeanty: Who's got the real claim to the Heisman throne this season?
Have an interesting take?
Imagine this; you are the QB, and you gotta make some plays to help your team win. So, in this scenario, your offensive line is your biggest friend, but what if they are next to non-existent? Yeah, well, that’s what Shedeur Sanders felt during the Wildcats showdown.
It genuinely blows our mind how the offensive line, despite performing so well against UCF and Baylor, managed to crumble like wet toilet paper when the Buffs went up against Kansas State. Deion Sanders‘ gotta fix this man.
But, coming to the main point; 3 touchdowns. 3 touchdowns without having Hunter by his side or Jimmy Horn Jr. That’s what Shedeur managed to get done against the Wildcats. Despite Coach Prime losing some of his best players due to on-field injuries, Shedeur managed to keep the Buffs in the game and almost even clutched a win if it wasn’t for Joyce Brown and his 50-yard touchdown run.
