Does Travis Hunter's playful rivalry with Deion Sanders strengthen their bond or test its limits?

Colorado Buffaloes dual-threat Travis Hunter turns out to be an absolute boomerang for HC Deion Sanders! Because the two-way phenomenon is not a threat to the field. He is now continuing to rage off the field. And who had to pay the consequences, Coach Prime, of course. What started as a pastime activity soon transformed into a competition!

Maybe Deion was still regretting challenging Hunter in fishing. The two-way star has got so much into beating Coach Prime in the race for catching the fishes that he now dished out a joking threat to ‘beat breaks off.’ From Coach Prime’s fishing pond to his closet, it all seems under Hunter’s control. Poor Deion!

If you spot the HC hanging out off the field with any Buffs, it has to be Hunter. After all, the coach-player duo shares something in common, their passion for fishing. They are often spotted by the water bodies in or near Coach Prime’s mansion, like Lake Prime and Lake Time.

Even though Hunter came up with heartfelt gestures like gifting the Buffs HC the best fishing gear, when it comes to actually catching the fishies, there’s no time for tenderness.

On one occasion, the score was Hunter:10, Coach Prime: 3! This made the HC look for a place to hide as he pleaded, “I want my mom.” But looks like recently he yet again wanted to try his luck. On the Travis Hunter podcast, his guest Boog, questioned, “Who won the fish off?”

“It was kind of tie, man,” came Hunter with a humble reply. But soon the numbers started to drop in. He and Kaden caught 10 fish and won the tie-breaker. That’s when Boog could not help but highlight how the Buffs’ dual threat has been a threat to Deion, “You gonna get banned, you go, you take all the shoes out his office, you go to his pond, you take all the fish out his lake. Come on man, you got to stop at some point, man. What are you doing?”

And guess what? Hunter replied.

Have an interesting take?

He came off with a cold yet revengeful reply in a very ‘Deion Sanders’ way, “No, just got to beat the brakes off on them.” Well, is it true that Hunter now has access to Coach Prime’s shoe closet?

Travis Hunter and his heist expeditions of Deion Sanders’ possessions

Lately, Hunter’s activities off the field changed his nickname from ‘dual threat’ to ‘thief.’ At a moment when the Colorado Buffaloes were riding high after their significant Big 12 win against the Cincinnati Bearcats, the two-way star chose to crash into Deion’s office. Well, not for any hearty talk with Deion, but he had some sly intentions.

Being the star of the evening against the Cincinnati Bearcats, Hunter used the big chance to raid Coach Prime’s sneaker collection. Well, not all, but a particular piece caught Hunter’s attention as he carried that away. No brownie points for guessing which one was it. Presumably, the Nike LeBron 21 Prime 93, is the one on which LeBron “King” James collaborated with Deion. The conversation that followed was hilarious!

As Coach Prime documented Travis Hunter’s stealing act, the Buffs HC went, “You just gonna come in here and shop, dawg?” To which the Heisman trophy contender quickly replied, “I need shoes, bro.”

Yes, that’s exactly the bond the two share, permitting Hunter to pick up anything he likes without inching a bit that it belongs to the coach. Well, not just the shoes. On November 1, the two-way star stole Deion’s smaller cars after stealing his fishing boat! Coach Prime better starts locking up his stuff before Hunter claims it all!
