Is the Buffs' secret to success their playful chemistry, or is it all Coach Prime's magic?

At this point just give Travis Hunter the Sanders pass considering the brotherly bond he shares with his teammate Shedeur Sanders. Especially with Buffs superstar head coach Deion Sanders. When you are an elite dual-star Heisman running, you can do all kinds of mischief and never get into any real trouble. Oh, and not to forget his fellow Heisman contender/teammate too. The two young stars who’ve been lighting up both the field and social media from time to time.

In the latest episode of 2Legendary, Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter delivered a podcast moment, which have Colorado fans—and just about anyone else listening—laughing out loud. Which started off with a slow talk, enjoying their bye week and how’s life, led to Travis doing his QB1 dirty. The duo’s banter centered around NFL star Saquon Barkley’s viral “Reverse Hurdle” move, done in none other than LeBron’s exclusive cleats. Hunter took a playful jab at Sanders over a coveted pair of LeBron 4. Sanders, In true Shedeur fashion, boasted, “I got the new shoes bro so it don’t matter I got the new ones that ain’t come out yet.” Only for Hunter to hilariously call him out on not having the exact pair, “Nike don’t like you, bro.”

Sometimes you just can’t tell if they are teammates or brothers. On and off the field, they’re just not afraid to let the world in on their playful side. But hey, does Travis have those pairs? That is exactly what Shedeur asked him. And Buffs #12 replied, “No, I don’t get my own cleats, but I just customize every cleat that I touch.” He had flex, didn’t he?

During the bye week, they swapped their usual gridiron grind for fishing trips with Coach Prime. Hunter shared that spending time off the field with his coach—and with Sanders—felt like more than just a team tradition; it’s a family affair. But this family loves to roast each other. But leave it to the potential He12man to take the pranks to, let’s say, prime level.

Travis Hunter stealing kicks, keeping it fresh

This playful sneaker envy has become a running joke among the team. Recently, Hunter was caught on camera “borrowing” a fresh pair of LeBron 4’s from Coach Prime’s office. In a video posted by Deion Sanders, Hunter could be seen slipping off with the shoes that the basketball GOAT himself gave him. Earning himself the light-hearted title of “roughish” from Coach Prime. Moments like this are part of what makes the Colorado Buffs one of the most entertaining squads in college football.

But don’t you worry, he has a lot of them, Nike doesn’t like his son yet, but dad is one of the favorites. Stuff like these are part of a clever approach to building their brands and keeping fans engaged. Shedeur also recently made headlines by making it to the top of chart with his NIL rise to $6.2 million. It must be because of his new song Perfect Timing.
