Travis Hunter’s fierce defense of NBA legend
Well, Hunter has been one of the biggest names in college football. After all, at only 21-years-old he now has the Heisman Trophy. Plus, he comes off as a dual-threat who turned 69 receptions into 856 yards and nine touchdowns while tallying 19 tackles and two interceptions. Remember the comparison that Joel Klatt talked about? The analyst said, “I want us to appreciate Travis Hunter and what he’s doing and what we’re seeing… There comes a time that, as a sports fan, you’ve got to sit back and actually take stock in what you’re witnessing…a lot of us do that when we watch LeBron play…watch Michael Jordan play.” Now that’s a big privilege to have at this age, isn’t it? While the debate would continue about whether Hunter can be compared to the greats or not, the two-way star sees one of them as the GOAT.

To him, LeBron James is the one and only god of the NBA. On The Travis Hunter Show, the dual-threat got into a heated argument with his co-host Boogy. Now, Hunter can’t be okay with the fact that someone is choosing other players over James. When he asked Boogy the question, “Who would you be afraid to play LeBron or Jordan?” he did not expect what was coming for him. Boogy replied, “Jordan, the killer.” And BOOM! Hunter got all upset in a split second.
The Buffs’ two-way star went like, “Oh my God. You’re lying, dude.” To which Boogy replied, “Jordan will jump over that boy.” And obviously, this did not sit well with Hunter. He went all surprised and tried to prove his point retaliating, “Did you not just see you you don’t see LeBron jumping over people?” To close the argument, Hunter then made a bold claim. “Egos, now it’s too much egos. They’re not gonna say that about LeBron…LeBron was in his prime. Well, he still in his prime, still going,” came from one of LeBron’s biggest fans. Okay, so now we know how protective is Hunter about James. Does the NBA legend feel the same for him?
