Can the Buffs rally without Omarion Miller, or is this season already a lost cause?

The Colorado Buffs’ fate is filled with misfortune, as seen after their 31-28 loss against the Kansas State Wildcats. During the game, the Buffs lost key players like two-way Travis Hunter, wide receiver Jimmy Horn Jr., and Omarion Miller to injury, leaving a question mark about their return. But now among them, there is a player who is being ruled out for the entire season.

Buffs star wide receiver Omarion Miller suffered a significant injury on his left ankle, which will require surgery. As a result of which, Miller will not be back on the field for this entire season. Buffs head coach Deion Sanders confirmed recently this unfortunate news, saying, “He had surgery yesterday. I don’t think he’ll be back this season.” Following this, today Omarion shared a post on IG about his journey throughout the season as a carousal, saying, “Sometimes you don’t gotta tell the story.. time will🙏🏽 #AGTG.” Even his teammates stood by his side and commented on the post, motivating him. Travis Hunter, who himself suffered a shoulder injury during the game, stood by Omarion Miller’s side and said, “Keep your head up, Brodie.”

The same goes for wide receiver Jimmy Horn Jr., who was also out with an injury during their faceoff against Kansas State. He also chimed in and showcased his support towards him, saying, “Shake back gone, be so real, ong love, homie.” Even Colorado’s safety player Cam’Ron Silmon Craig wrote a beautiful line highlighting the fact that this is not the end of the world for Miller, saying, “MINOR SETBACK FOR MAJOR BACK 4”

Miller’s absence is going to be a tough blow for the Buffaloes. Miller’s performances this season have been impressive, with 10 receptions running for 216 yards with a touchdown. Let’s see how the team copes with his exit. For now, let’s see what Coach Prime has to say about the team’s loss against the Wildcats.

The Buffs failed to continue their three-game winning streak against the Wildcats last week. Well, this was the outcome of a major factor, which was Colorado’s key players getting injured during the game. Even head coach Deion Sanders felt a major sense of setback for the team after their loss, saying, “Sometimes when you lose in life, you get your butt kicked and you’ve just got to take. Sometimes you lose; you say, ‘Dang, we should’ve won that. We should’ve had that.”. Well, Coach Prime is not wrong; it was a kind of game that they could have won.

Have an interesting take?

The team was successfully able to take a lead over the Wildcats when star quarterback Shedeur Sanders threw an 11-yard touchdown pass to receiver LaJohntay Wester with just a few minutes left in the game. However, in the last moments, they lost control over the ball, which ultimately resulted in a 31-28 win for the Wildcats. The team’s only positive news at the moment is the potential return of Travis Hunter and Jimmy Horn Jr. for the Buffs’ upcoming game, providing some relief for them.
