The Georgia Bulldogs defeated Mississippi State 41–31, yet nobody is talking about Kirby Smart’s leadership in the victory. The game’s main narrative was Smart’s shove of the MSU player. Yes, a controversy has arisen regarding Kirby Smart’s shove on MSU QB Michael Van Buren. But did he actually push the player from MSU? When insiders discussed the possible repercussions, this debate went nowhere to disappear.
“What would have happened if Miss State QB Michael Van Buren pushed Kirby Smart?” was the description of a video that SEC Mike uploaded on their X account on October 14, 2024. SEC insiders responded by saying, “A penalty at the very least, an ejection could have also happened.” However, when Kirby Smart was asked about the shove, he denied it. And said Buren had simply arrived at the wrong location and at the wrong moment when he was ranting to someone on Georgia’s bench.

However, insiders responded to Kirby’s stupid remarks by saying, “I think they would have thrown his a** out of the game.” A video that has been making the rounds on the internet clearly shows that Kirby Smart is pushing Mississippi quarterback Michael Van Buren Jr. in the fourth quarter. Additionally, sources said, ” Players cannot push the head coach over; perhaps I witnessed players pushing referees last week and nothing occurred there.” Thus, it seems evident that it is reasonable to hold Kirby Smart responsible for Georgia’s culture.

However, when they questioned Buren and Jeff Lebby, the head coach of MSU, they also denied the same. “I wasn’t really sure what that was, but I was just trying to play my game,” Buren remarked. “I didn’t actually witness it.” Because of this, the issue appears to be unresolved, but fans of college football are incensed that Smart lost his cool. Now, the question is whether he will be suspended.
Will Kirby Smart be suspended?
The Bulldogs’ reputation is suffering greatly as a result of an increasing number of player arrests. With the team under such intense criticism, Kirby Smart is being accused of being a poor leader and of inciting a flurry of disobedience within the program. Things are not looking good for the Bulldogs, as the coach is facing so much criticism from the supporters that he is being requested to retire.

The team’s players were allegedly involved in over 24 driving-related offenses back in January 2023, including charges of DUI, reckless driving, and even speeding. In addition, a catastrophic crash claimed the lives of recruiting staffer Chandler LeCroy and offensive lineman Devin Willock. The fans are now over Kirby Smart and his squad because the dangerous behavior climate has reached an all-time high.
Insiders also discuss Georgia’s arrest culture in relation to the current situation surrounding Smart, stating things like, “This is why they drive fast, Kirby’s beating the opposing team’s players! 😂.” You might be wondering if just guiding your team to win is enough in college football; team culture is just as important.
