The hype video from Clemson didn’t sit well with Texas fans at DKR Stadium. As soon as the flashy clips began playing, the boos filled the air. The crowd made it clear they weren’t here for Clemson’s hype, not with the Longhorns ready to battle. Moreover, the tension was real, and the energy in the stadium was wild. The rivalry’s palpable heat filled DKR Stadium, and Texas’ relentless attitude fully impacted Clemson. Well, what can we say? It’s playoff season, baby!
Now that’s crazy. The most awaited showdown between the Texas Longhorns and Clemson Tigers took a wild turn. Longhorns are not only taking the lead of 21-7 over the Tigers but also humiliating them over their hype video that is creating a mess. Well, the video features a theme of unshakable belief. It’s time. It starts with talking about the foundation of this program, which centers on attitude and belief.
The video also holds intense visuals, setting a high-energy tone. As it progresses, the music shifts, introducing vibrant, rave-like beats that complement the rapid-fire imagery. This combination creates an electrifying atmosphere, effectively building anticipation of the upcoming game. But it looks like the Texas Longhorns are not fans of good work, as they started giving a hard time to the Tigers’ intro video. As a Texas insider mentions the same thing just ahead of their actual showdown, saying, “Clemson’s (presumably CFP-mandated) hype video on the screen at DKR is greeted by a strong chorus of boos.”

Now as we say, if you don’t set the right mood for the game, it messes you up a big time. The same is happening with the Tigers. We all know Texas holds an advantage over them in terms of their defense, ranking 2nd in the nation. And knowing their running back and wide receiver depth makes it even easier for them. But what about the team holding up on 20 points from the last two games because of their quarterback, Quinn Ewers? What if this harms their playoff hopes?

Will Quinn Ewers be able to hold up the Clemson game?
Things might not be as straightforward for Texas Longhorns as it looks. Their struggle with the quarterback is well known, and from the last two games, Quinn Ewers’s performance is taking a serious hit, adding to the misery even more. Even though Quinn is still playing at the starting quarterback position for Texas in such a crucial game. This shows coach Sarkisian’s trust in him even after all the inconsistency with interceptions he has shown.
But then, we can’t blame him, can we? With an injury to his leg, Ewers struggled to give out a consistent game and took a serious hit. Moreover, that kept him off the field for weeks, and after his return, Quinn barely landed 27 out of 46 passes, which turned out to give a very low completion rate of around 58%. And what added more to this misery was his performance against the Bulldogs, where Ewers recorded one interception and two fumbles to lose. That completely changed things for him.

Now there was also news coming up that Ewers might stay back for one more season with Texas to improve his stats for the NFL. But that’s not the case anymore; there are possibilities he might hit the transfer portal, and there is also an interested team eyeing him. Any guesses? Well, it’s the brand new head coach in town, folks: Bill Belichick. Now, this game will decide Ewers’s future in the league, so it’s good, but it doesn’t take time for things to take a weird turn.
