Sheroone Moore has had enough of a lackluster season. He’s just not ready to repeat the same mistakes, heading to another brand new season the next year. Moore was on the hot seat even a few weeks back when fans randomly targeted him for the consistent QB issues costing big matches for the Wolverines. Wait, they didn’t do it randomly at all. The Michigan HC didn’t make enough moves to take quarterbacks in the previous year’s portal. However, there can be a counter-argument in Moore’s favor. When he was appointed as a head coach, all the-lister QBs in the portal got transferred elsewhere, so Moore didn’t have an active choice to recruit any big names. Keeping aside the debate, the bottom line is the Wolverines got what they longed for. Bryce Underwood, the one and only perceived cure for all the QB issues, finally penned a deal. A new recruiting on offense has followed suit.
The 7-5 2024 season may not find the footnotes of the Wolverines’ history. Yes, they smashed their arch-nemesis Ohio State in Columbus, ending the season with some momentum. But it never covered up their doldrums in the rest of the games. So, Moore had to do something to answer frenzied fans and veterans. He took Underwood with a massive NIL offer and cut the offensive coordinator Kirk Campbell. As the next inevitable step, the Wolverines successfully pitched Chip Lindsey to be the next offensive coordinator on Tuesday. Here’s how those two additions blend up.

The former North Carolina offensive coordinator Chip Lindsey will have a role to play here. He will indeed succeed in a pathetic offensive slump in Ann Arbor, but come on, he will have the top recruit of the 2025 class by his side.
”He has a quarterback pedigree coaching guys like Jarrett St when he was at Auburn, coaching Drake May, who was a top-three pick in last year’s draft. There’s some of that quarterback language he speaks, in addition to keeping, I believe, what Michigan ultimately still wants to be and will always want to be regardless of who that quarterback, regardless who’s the head coach, they’ll want to be tough,” noted Pickell. If the toughness meets the talent of a supreme quarterback like Underwood, it would be a disaster. Other teams stay aware of the dangerous coach-quarterback the Michigan football is processing with. The ON3 expert chimed in, ”
That’s going to be massive and that’s going to be, I think, ultimately very, very lethal.” Is it safe to hope for a complete turnaround?Bryce Underwood is seasoning with his new team before the on-field appearance
It might seem a far-fetched question, but Bryce Underwood and the rest of the roster are amping up to make it a reality.

Don’t forget, Underwood might be the shining in armor, but he’s not alone. Moore nearly expects as many as 16 early enrollees to join the Wolverines’ 2025 recruiting class. All the high school graduates will set to make a mark in the program ahead of the winter term.
The pitch is ready. Now, it has to be seen if Moore can bring off the benefits or not.
