How is the fight for the No. 1 ATH in the country going? The question was meant for Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian and Nebraska’s Matt Rhule. These men have been running the rat race to land Michael Terry III‘s commitment for months now. Although there were strong chances of the 2025 class commit’s incline towards the Longhorns, the Huskers also never stopped getting his attention. So, is there a new update in the story? Yeah, it looks like.

So, as per the recent events, college football analyst

Steve Wiltfong revealed a shocker for Sarkisian, who’s sitting peacefully as if he already has Terry the third’s commitment. The host of the On3 recruits show asked Wiltfong about Michael Terry’s never-ending silence on his final announcement and why he has not yet revealed it.

Wiltfong replied by saying, “I talked to his dad more recently than that, but it’s not like I’m checking in regularly about the pulse. But last heard, Texas was still the leader, but Nebraska is still swinging hard for Michael Terry the third, and that’s the reason why he’s not already publicly committed to the Texas Longhorns.”

Ouch! The analyst who has been in touch with Michael Terry’s dad recently says that the five-star commit has still not made up his mind. Is this some kind of bad news for Steve Sarkisian? There are numerous reasons to chase this beast, and Coach Sark can’t afford to lose him. Days ago, in early November, as of On3’s RPM, Terry had a whopping 96.2% chance to join Sarkisian’s squad. However, given the hints given by Michael Terry, the young guy can go to Nebraska as well.

Michael Terry wore the Huskers’ gloves!

The Texas native had visited the Nebraska vs. Colorado game, and he was quite impressed after that. “They were calling me a lot, almost every day. They’re just trying to get me up there, and they really set the bar high on the OV. They really showed me that they really want me up there.”
