2023 was not the year for the Colorado Buffaloes. However, this season, Coach Prime and his team are making headlines with their performance. 6-2 is where they stand currently and with victory against Cincinnati, they have become one of the serious contenders for the Big 12. Buffs comeback shows Deion Sanders’s new approach. What is your take on it?

If we take a closer look at the Buffs victories this season, they have demonstrated good plays on both sides. Even though against Arizona, three key players, including the two-way star Travis Hunter, were missing, the Buffs made sure to hold on to their horses and put a 34-7 victory on the scoreboard. But do they deserve a place in the playoffs? Sanders is known for his bold personality and many cannot take it. Stephen A. Smith, who is often seen taking good care of Sanders, had to advocate for him one more time as to Paul Finebaum’s mention that he does not see Buffs in the playoff.

A few hours ago, ESPN College Football’s YouTube channel shared a video where the experts discussed their immediate thoughts and reactions to the college football playoffs. “No, I think they’ll come very close. I think this weekend is tricky. They have a couple of other games. I undervalued them, and I overvalued the rest of the league; I’m not sure right now if they have enough to get past BYU,” TV personality Finebaum said. The Buffs did not even play this week and their chances for playoffs have revived. Do you know about that? Week 10 brought new dynmaics and fortune favored them.

However, TV personality and journalist Stephen does not agree with Finebaum, and he believes that Buffs in the playoffs is not a bad thing. He acknowledged the Sheduer Sanders game and mentioned, “Sheduer Sanders is a big time play all right; he may be relatively miniature in size compared to what we’re accustomed to seeing in some quarterbacks, but that brother he can throw that football; he will stand in the pocket; he will show up in the midst of pressure; he will show up in pressurized situations and answer the call and respond.” Sheduer’s performance throughout the season also makes him one of the top NFL draft picks. There is a reason why everyone wants him on their team. He stood out against Baylor. He outshined over Arizona when Hunter was not present in the field.

Further, Stephen appreciated Hunter as well and also stated that he should be one of the top two leading candidates for the Heisman trophy. “We college football needs to get with the program and stop trying to and stop trying to be to make everybody happy. You ain’t never cared about making people happy before; don’t start now. Make yourself happy, everyone. In the end, Sheduer, Travis Hunter Prime time in the college football playoffs is not a bad thing for ratings.” We heard from the experts, and let’s hear Sanders’s thoughts on the playoffs.

Deion Sanders’s playoff philosophy

While everyone is talking about college football playoffs, Coach Prime is not worried about the recent changes in the conference standings. Week 10 changed lots of things. Similarly, a lot of changes have happened for Buffs since last year. From their poor defensive line to their hunger for winning games.

However, on Tuesday, Sanders spoke to the media and made it clear that every week’s rankings really do not matter to him. “We don’t care about that,” Sanders said. “Every game is a playoff game to us. It’s been that way all season… It’s a single-elimination tournament, and we’re approaching all of them with passion, with purpose, with consistency, with focus and a dog-like attitude.” That’s what makes him different. His way of approaching the title is very different from other head coaches. While Sanders, his staff and the players are on the right path, the Buffs also had the bye week to reflect on the things that went wrong for them in their two losses. However, this Saturday they will face Texas Tech; let’s see if they continue the momentum.
