Shilo Sanders roasting Travis Hunter's TikTok—Is this sibling rivalry or just good old-fashioned fun?

The Colorado Buffaloes practice is always a hoot and a half. In the preseason fall camp’s final lap, the Buffs’ safety, Shilo Sanders, turned the spotlight on himself by turning the practice into a stand-up comedy episode. He had his reasons. After all, it’s tough to resist when his teammate Travis Hunter unleashes his hidden potential and his TikTok skills. This landed the dynamic duo in trouble when they got playfully scorned by Deion Sanders. But if you think Hunter focuses on anything but the sport, then you are mistaken. He got a clean chit from big names about his NFL journey that was about to begin.

Bucky was all armed to capture the Buffs’ preseason fall camp for the fans. Here, he comes up with the best highlights from the practice. While Shilo got lucky to find a guru in his teammate and two-way phenom Hunter, the Buffs’ safety never missed a chance to take a playful dig at his newly found mentor. Deion Jr. wanted to make the video interesting by ensuring that the conversation was funnier. He dropped a statement, “Travis can’t shake to which Shilo retaliated, claiming, “No this is Travis’ bread and butter right.”

And guess what? Shilo is absolutely right! This takes us a few days back to August 16. The Hunter-Shilo camaraderie was spotted when the duo was seen imitating Deion Sanders. The players were grooving to catchy hits imitating Coach Prime’s moves from his 1995 performance. Deion had taken up the role of the SNL host, where he looked like a dapper in a pink suit and performed on his two masterpieces, It’s On and Must Be The Money. He did not take much time to track Shilo and Hunter’s steps. And then came Deion jokingly scorning the duo as he posted, “What’s wrong with @db3_tip & @shilosanders? These 2 young men will not be starting the 1st game for obvious reasons. #CoachPrime.” Amidst the laughs and good times, Hunter’s talents stood out to get him a green pass.

Hunter’s versatility shines amidst NFL draft projections

The Buffs’ two-way star holds so much talent that was enough for the DNVR Sports podcast to dedicate an entire episode to Hunter on July 10. He is a do-everything superstar in Deion’s army. That’s enough for the mock drafts to predict that Hunter would be the No. 4 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. However, the scouts are still in a pickle trying to nail down Hunter’s primary position. Here, the podcast host sought help from the former Buffs offensive coordinator, Mike Sanford.

And on the podcast, Sanford was all head-over-heels for Hunter as he highlighted, “I think as an NFL player I think he’s still going to be an X-factor…I think he has so much ability as a dynamic playmaker.” And according to him, which of Hunter’s talents grabs the most attention? Sanford confirmed, “his elite trait though is his ball skills.”

Not just the interim HC, Hunter got a gold star from Charles Woodson, the six-time NFL All-Pro star. On the Bussin With The Boys podcast, the legend plopped right into the sweet spot, “I think receiver, I think he’s nasty at receiver. I mean he’s a good corner don’t get me wrong, but I see his offensive skills man…I think his offensive skills dominate over his defensive skills.” Does this mean Deion might’ve missed the mark on Hunter’s ambidextrous claims? Let your opinion pour in.
