The Sanders clan is practically bursting with talent. It’s not just athletic skills, as Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders and his sons are also rocking the world outside of sports. However, the Buffs safety refuses to idolize his father when it’s not sports. And guess who is Shilo’s apple of the eye? It’s his brother. It’s not Deion Sanders Jr. but his younger sibling and Buffs’ QB Shedeur. But what’s the catch with Shedeur? His vibe acts like a magnet that keeps everyone buzzing. However, although Shilo looks up to Shedeur to claim the spotlight, he is the OG among the Sanders siblings regarding acting.
On August 20, Reach The People Media did something different. All thanks to the mastermind and podcast host, Darius Sanders, for not making the episode only about the game. Instead, Darius chose to do it fun by arranging a talk session with Shilo. Amidst the conversation, the inquisitive host dropped an exciting question for the Buffs’ safety, “If you did have to pay for a feature from your brothers who would you actually pay for a feature?”
And to everyone’s surprise, Shilo would pay for Shedeur’s skills to climb the ladder of fame. But what allures him toward Shedeur and not Bucky? The Buffs’ safety justified how Deion Jr. and Shedeur had notable breakthroughs regarding their music albums. But they do not share the same fame. But how? Shilo cleverly pointed out, “If you do a song with Shedeur if it’s bad or good people are going to talk about it or hate more than they would hate on Bucky… so I’ll probably get Shedeur on it cause he’s going to get more either hate or people like it, I don’t know.”

And here Darius dropped a banger: “What about your dad you not paying that?” Surprisingly, Shilo had his answer ready and did not flinch a bit before replying, “It’s too old school bro he just went platinum again he’s going viral and stuff with beey that’s not my type of flow.” While his elder brothers rock the music scene, acting is Shilo’s game.
Shilo Sanders and his silver screen debut
The month of May ushered in big news for the Sanders fam. After all, Shilo got a breakthrough on the silver screen. The Buffs’ safety got an opportunity to be on the season finale Friday night of the popular crime drama on the Starz premium cable network, BMF (Black Mafia Family). Even though he had only one scene in the episode, it didn’t matter much. Why would it? Shilo got the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to portray the younger version of his father, THE DEION SANDERS, on screen.
And Deion’s thrill level was through the roof as he disclosed the big news on IG with the caption, “I’m so proud of @shilosanders he did the Doggone THANG!” While it might have been a big deal for the Buffs fans who were skeptical about Shilo doing justice to Deion’s role, he wore the character like a second skin.

Have an interesting take?
On the 2Legendary with Shedeur Sanders, Shilo quipped, “It’s just kind of normal like doing commercials and stuff, it just felt like the same but it was cool being able to officially portray that.” After flexing his acting chops like dad, he must tune up those musical notes like his brothers.
