Michigan recruitment is on a fiery streak. Sherrone Moore has taken a lot of flakes for his insufficient effort in last year’s transfer portal, arguably leading to a huge QB issue throughout the midseason. He’s not leaving any stone unturned to cover up for his mistakes. Despite going from David Warren, and Alex Orji to Jack Tuttle in a few weeks, Moore failed to fix the O line. The only hope for the Wolverines was Bryce Underwood, the former LSU commit. After a lot of back and forth, a solid $200 million NIL sealed the deal for the nation’s top recruit for the maize and blue. But it was just the beginning of Moore’s flourishing 2025 dynasty. The list of potential flips is longer than the haters. You know if you know!

The biggest heartbreak of the recent weeks was certainly what Moore passed on Brian Kelly flipping his biggest guy, Bryce Underwood. The kid was fervently cemented in his verbal commitment to the Tigers. Even a few weeks back, he used to dismiss random Instagram users talking about Michigan’s chance on him. But finally, money makes all the talks, and the ball is on Moore’s court. This is certainly a major coup for the Wolverines, but they mounted a bevy of other commits including four-star safety Elijah Dotson as well. They are still eying some heavy names ahead of the national signing day.

Breaking down the list, On3’s Josh Newsberg said: ”Well Bradley Gompers is a 300 linebacker committed to Duke that Michigan and Penn State are working to flip Nathaniel OWUSU Boateng, the four-star linebacker from IMG Academy is also a top Target for Michigan down the stretch as they battle Colorado. You have local cornerback Alex Graham, who’s been committed to Colorado for a long time, but I think that Michigan is in a good spot down the stretch.”

‘We’ll see if Michigan circles back on some other defensive backs like they did Shamari Earls. Flipping Shamari Earls shortly before Bryce Underwood but D-line, they have a few targets out there. Moton is a kid from Kentucky who’s on campus right now. His official visits gone into Monday Christian Ingram have Michigan on his shortlist. Offensive line dialogue continues with faster offensive tackle TY Haywood Josh. He’s committed to Alabama, but that’s one that we’re seeing Michigan try to make a late move for, and then Zac Stascausky, the number one player in Oregon’s top 100 players in the country. He’s committed to Washington. He’s keeping… he was at Michigan this past week. Sounds like it went well.’‘, Newberg added layers to the rousing top target lists of Moore and the Wolverines.

Well, don’t just get full at this much. There is more on Morre’s plate. LSU commit WR Derek Meadows is highly on the discussion of joining forces with fellow four-star recruits Andrew Marsh and Jacob Washington. But to earn the final words, Moore needs to overdo Alabama and Notre Dame, the other fierce suitors for Meadows.

Fans had nothing short of lofty hope for the Wolverines when they headed to the season as the defending national champion with a picture-perfect 15-0 record. But their pre-season poll ranking already hinted at their foreseeable downfall with a No.9 ranking which marked the lowest in the history of any defending national champion teams since 2011. But that didn’t stop fans from wearing their hearts on the sleeves.

But again, another blow under the belt! Jim Harbaugh, the guy who carried the team to their first-ever national title since 1997, left the building for the NFL. The expectation bar started to fall. But nobody could see such a disastrous season from Moore at least. After facing multiple losses, they rose to just 6-5 with a 50-6 statement victory against Northwestern last week.

But it didn’t give them a playoff spot for sure. Five losses in the season are too much to hit the coveted sphere. However, with the last win, Moore ensured to get a post-season game after the regular season wrapped up.
