The 2024 college football season has kicked off, and the Michigan Wolverines have won their season opener against Fresno State. Although the team won, Sherrone Moore, the head coach of the winning team, has found himself in the spotlight.

After Michigan‘s first game, many thought their offense needed help finding its rhythm. For the second week, Moor’s team is going to face the Texas Longhorns. Fans, experts, and media houses are encouraging Moore to apply former head coach Jim Harbaugh’s playbook.

Brady Quinn, a former NFL player, joins the ongoing debate and expresses his thoughts on head coach Moore channeling Harbaugh’s playbook on The Joel Katt Show. “Michigan had success, so we don’t need to go into that, but one of the reasons why I hate it is because it discredits. JJ McCarthy, that’s right. When JJ McCarthy was called upon, he stepped up and made a play, and that’s what we’re. Gonna find out about this Michigan team because if Sherrone Moore wants to run a system very similar and run this program just like Harbaugh did, then he’s going to have to have a quarterback the way they look to be playing right now. These two have to step up.” For Moore, following Harbagh’s playbook means embracing a more aggressive approach.

The inconsistent offensive line play didn’t match the dominant units.
