It’s almost been 6 months, man. Give it some rest. You know, something tells us that Shedeur Sanders and his entire family probably hate NFL Rookie Watch. And we won’t even be surprised if they do. Way back in July, Rookie Watch it would be an amazing idea to tweet out false news regarding the top 6 teams Shedeur wants to go to. They said Shedeur Sanders himself put the Atlanta Falcons on the top spot, followed by the Cowboys and then Commanders. This was wild because the moment this tweet went out on X, Shedeur himself re-shared it with the caption, “When did I say this?”

And if that wasn’t enough, even Deion Sanders chimed in. “Please stop lying on us. Show me where @ShedeurSanders said what teams he desired to play for?” Coach Prime pointed out. Now if you are a normal “sane” person, you’d stop with the lies. But it looks like Rookie Watch loves them fake news, huh? They took to X yet again to post, “There is reportedly a “high likelihood” Sanders would refuse to play if he was drafted by either the Giants or Browns.” The moment this went out, both Coach Prime and Deion Sanders Jr. took to X to share that this was a complete lie. “A Lie don’t care who tells it,” Deion Sanders mentioned. Then Bucky added, “Bro is completely lying about everything he just tweeted.”

See, we told you before, if it’s about Shedeur Sanders and the draft, there has to be an “Eli Manning move” brewing. But let’s be real, it won’t be that blatant. Giants and Browns are massive teams and pretty sure Shedeur won’t have any problem joining either of them. Rookie Watch needs to watch out cause they are losing credibility doing this. However, their original post did have an interesting angle regarding Shedeur’s inclination towards the Raiders or the Cowboys.

Let’s talk Cowboys first. The “Apple of [Jerry] Jones’ Eye”. Yeah, we all knew Jerry Jones would go all in for Shedeur Sanders. It makes sense why. With Dak Prescott off the season and $200 million richer, Jones is going to lose bags if he plans on depending on that guy. This, paired with the fact that Prescott, while he is good, has continuously choked major games for the Cowboys, is a sign pointing towards a QB change.

Now for the Raiders? This $6.2 Billion NFL side is basically a match made in heaven for Shedeur Sanders. Why? Who is dominating the NFL right now? Patrick Mahomes and his boy, right? So drop Shedeur in to face them. See, the Raiders are forever destined to face off against the Chiefs.

Will Shedeur Sanders' 'Manning move' redefine NFL draft strategies for top quarterbacks?

Have an interesting take?

And they need someone in the QB position to tip the scales. With what Shedeur has managed to do with just the help of Pat Shurmur, he points toward an amazing future if he gets access to more NFL coaching. While the Giants or the Browns are off the table, the Cowboys and Raiders still gotta fight over Shedeur. Now, there is a catch. Mark Davis has something that can tip the scales in his favor.

Is Tom Brady coming in clutch for the Raiders?

It’s the GOAT himself. See, the Cowboys are on the 12th spot on the NFL draft order. Now, this is going to get worse for Jones because Tom Brady is pretty much all in for the idea of Shedeur as a Raider.

We covered this a few days back. Charles Robinson pointed out, “What Tom will say about quarterback, I’d bet you that’s what goes.” Now, pair this with the fact that Brady has often spoken highly about Sheder Sanders multiple times and has also left “glowing reviews,” and it’s clear where we are heading with this.

And if that wasn’t a good enough point, even Davis told Shedeur, “You might be home right now.” This happened during the Aces vs Liberty WNBA game. Even the Raiders fans love the idea of Shedeur being their QB1.
