A final act of commitment or a dumb move? We can never really describe the perfect connection Shedeur Sanders has with Travis Hunter. Every time these guys have connected for a touchdown, it has been electrifying. That 24-yard pass from Shedeur to Hunter was absolute magic during the Red Raiders game. And that 41-yard touchdown against North Dakota? Chef’s kiss. That play was so good that even LeBron James hit X to praise these guys. And it’s not just this. Even off the field, whenever we have spotted both of them together on Well Off Media or during a WNBA or NBA game, they have exuded what we can only call “true friendship”. However, something bigger than the connection these guys have with each other is the commitment they have to the Colorado Buffs.

See, Bowl games are a tricky situation for any senior athlete. Right after this, you got your NFL draft, so you have to make a choice. Do you risk it all for another game for your team or opt out to practice for the draft and enter the league without any injuries or setbacks? Now, when Shedeur was popped the same question on whether they wanna play the Alamo Bowl, their answer was clear. “We’re playing for a purpose at the end of the day. It’s for those teammates that didn’t have the season they wanted to have, and they still got one more opportunity,” Shedeur pointed out on 2Legendary.

Even Hunter, on his podcast, pointed out that he will be playing one last game for the Buffs. Yeah, he initially joked that he wanted a $5 million paycheck, but he has clarified that since. Now, this could either end up being a dumb move or could help Colorado win one more game this season.

See, one thing is for sure. Both Shedeur and Hunter are No.1 picks in their respective classes. On every single Mock Draft list, Shedeur is QB1, and for Hunter? He will probably end up being the first-round WR pick in this 2025 draft.

Where are they headed? Well, for Sanders, it has to be Raiders. After what we heard regarding Mark Davis and Tom Brady, it is for sure they are picking Shedeur Sanders. Raiders already have the first pick in this draft. For Hunter, though? The destination could vary. Giants are a big contender, but so are the Cowboys, so we gotta wait and see how this pans out. Regardless, let’s focus on more pressing matters: The Alamo Bowl.

What’s your perspective on:

Is Shedeur Sanders risking too much for one last game, or is it a noble choice?

One final game for Deion Sanders

“This is gonna be our last game,” Deion Sanders had pointed out while talking about the BYU showdown. You see, both teams were in a tricky situation. BYU ended the season with 10 wins but couldn’t crack the Big 12 title because Arizona State and Iowa State got their first. Now, the same can be said for the Buffs.

Coach Prime’s conference title run was solely dependent on the BYU, Arizona, and Iowa games. Deion Sanders needed at least 2 teams to lose, but fate wasn’t on his sid,e and all 3 of them won. Regardless, with that aside, this Bowl game is gonna act like BYU and Buffs’ own title game.

See, for Deion, his boys are gonna be stronger than ever. No one wants to end the year with an upset. And with Shedeur and Hunter coming in, you gonna see a lot of turnovers and massive touchdown plays.

But then, don’t take BYU lightly. They had very close games against Arizona State and Jayhawks, and from what we have seen, they have the talent to back up all that talk. QB Jake Retzlaff is going to be leading the charge for the Cougars, and we cannot wait to see how this entire matchup will pan out.

Is this a bad decision on Shedeur and Hunter’s part? We don’t know. Will this be one very entertaining game? We can guarantee that.
