Could Shedeur Sanders be the missing piece the Miami Dolphins need to dominate the NFL?

All the eyes are on Travis Hunter. We know that. However, you cannot miss out on Shedeur Sanders. This guy is THE playmaker right now. Against Baylor, Shedeur perfectly showed why he is one of the top QBs in CFB. With around 2-3 seconds left on the clock, Shedeur managed to land a 43-yard Hail Mary pass to LaJohntay Wester. This pushed a losing game to overtime, and the Buffs came out on top with a 38-31 win. With the decision-making and the amazing ability to play from a collapsing pocket, we gotta talk about what team would benefit the most if they managed to land Shedeur Sanders.

And on the October 2nd episode of DNVR Sports, this is the exact discussion that takes place. “I actually saw someone that posted an edit today of Shedeur in Dolphins jersey. Oh my God,” DNVR mentioned. Could we see Shedeur in the Miami Dolphins? We gotta look at how the team is doing first. The eclipse moment for the Dolphins came when their starting QB Tua Tagovailoa suffered a game-changing concussion. While the current medication status and the possibility of Tagovailoa returning to the game ain’t clear, what is clear is the fact that the Dolphins aren’t in the best spot right now.

Shedeur jumping on the board for Miami could be marked as the worst possible outcome for the team. No, we don’t mean Shedeur is a bad pick. What we mean is the fact that Tagovailoa could retire and the Dolphins would fail to find a replacement for the short term. Picking Shedeur would be the Hail Mary for the Dolphins in this case.

From a long-term perspective, Shedeur would be the perfect QB for the team. This guy is already standing on the top-five pick in the 2025 NFL Drafts. And if we look at skills alone, no one could handle the amount of thrashing on the field like Shedeur can. This dude is resilient and after Pat Shurmur took over, Shedeur has improved drastically in terms of playing from the pocket and making last-minute decisions.

However, while the Dolphins can stick with Shedeur, there’s another team that DNVR missed out on. Before the 2024 season started, Shedeur was the big hype for Jerry Jones and the Cowboys. So, would he be the best fit over there?

Shedeur Sanders, a certified Cowboy?

“Apple of [Jerry] Jones’ Eye.” That is what Shedeur was marked as whenever the discussion of him being in the Cowboys was brought up. Right now, Jones is dealing with his own QB dilemma. Dak Prescott’s contract has reached a record high and Jones ain’t gonna pay it. And QB Daniel Jones is already having a rough time.

What’s your perspective on:

Could Shedeur Sanders be the missing piece the Miami Dolphins need to dominate the NFL?

Have an interesting take?

Back in August, Arrowhead Live had pointed out on X that, “Cowboys will move mountains to draft Shedeur Sanders.” The possibility of this happening is quite high. More so because Jones himself has praised Shedeur on multiple occasions.

Shedeur Sanders has already managed to rack up around 1600+ yards along with 14 TDs and 3 interceptions. This ain’t bad stats. While the NFL drafts are still away, we cannot help but wonder what this guy will pull once he gets into the big league. Let us know which team you see Shedeur fitting the best in.
