Best comeback season? Check. Big 12 offensive player of the week? Check. Massive pocket presence? Check. Managed to single-handedly change the game for the Buffs? CHECK. What more could you ask for from your quarterback? Shedeur Sanders had one of the best seasons this year and you can thank Deion Sanders and the NFL experience he brought into the coaching staff. Almost 4k yards this season with over 30 touchdowns and ONLY 8 interceptions. If that is not good enough for you, roll the Baylor game and Kansas Wildcats game, and you will see why Shedeur Sanders is Mel Kiper’s No.1 draft pick for the upcoming NFL draft.

But here’s the main question. Which team will be the best for the Buffs QB? Yahoo Sports has an answer. “Shedeur Sanders and the Las Vegas Raiders seem to be a match made in heaven,” Jason Fitz from Yahoo Sports points out. See, the men in black are going against the Reds every single year. This entire Raiders vs Patrick Mahomes empire needs a new player, and Shedeur is the perfect pick. Now we aren’t saying that he will instantly overpower the MVP, but he can tip the scales by some margin. For Mark Davis, Shedeur Sanders can bring in record draws. This, paired with a young HC like Antonio Pierce, can easily help in tapping into Shedeur’s strengths.

Keep in mind that the game is getting tough for the Raiders. They have been patient every single year when it came down to QB picks, but they have to make this one count. As of week 13, the Raiders have the 2nd pick on the NFL Draft Order.

Deion Sanders made it very clear during the Big 12 Media Day that his sons would love to play for Pierce. This stance still stands. Pair this up with the fact that the Raiders fan base also loves Shedeur, and you get yourself a perfect quarterback pick who has the same skills and fame.

However, there is a catch. While these Raiders x Shedeur sounds like a dream, the reality could end up being very different. See, there is another team that is in contention to fix their QB worries, and they could end up gunning it for Shedeur Sanders.

Here come the Cowboys

What’s your perspective on:

Could Shedeur Sanders be the game-changer the Raiders need to finally topple Mahomes' Chiefs?

Have an interesting take?

Ah, good old Jerry Jones. Wasted $240 million on a quarterback who is out with a season-ending injury. Wild. See, the Dallas Cowboys need a better quarterback. While Dak Prescott is good, he is getting too expensive, and the trade is just not worth it.

Now, just a QB won’t cut the deal. See, Jones needs someone who can bring in some good viewership. Can you guess who fits the mold? Yeah, Shedeur. With this pick, Jones will not only get a good enough quarterback replacement, but he will also get Sanders’ name linked to the Cowboys.

Do you have any idea how much money they can make? The University of Colorado Boulder made over $100 million because of Shedeur and Deion Sanders and the Buffs’ 2024 season run. There is potential, but only one team will win the rat race. Then again, there is also the risk of Deion Sanders pulling an Eli Manning.
