Shedeur Sanders isn’t just another quarterback—he’s a competitor with something to prove. The Colorado star has been under the spotlight for his talent, confidence, and NFL potential. And if you think the doubts or criticism are getting to him, think again. Instead, it’s fueling his fire. With the league in his sights, Shedeur is making it clear—any team that overlooks him might just regret it.

And you’d think that the media glares, the limelight of the big league will overwhelm him. Well, think again! For Shedeur, such things come with being Prime Time’s son. The father-son duo made their name at not one but two colleges. “We went from Jackson State to Colorado and changed two programs back to back. So you don’t think I could come to an NFL franchise and change a program again,” Shedeur said.

Well, that’s some confidence. And his numbers back it up. At Jackson State, Sanders put up dominant stats, completing 70.6% of his passes for 3,732 yards, 40 touchdowns, and only 6 interceptions in his sophomore season. After transferring to Colorado, he immediately made an impact, setting a school record with 510 passing yards in his debut against TCU.

With a total of 14,327 passing yards, 134 touchdowns, and a career completion rate of 70.1%, Sanders isn’t just talking—he’s proving it with results. Of course, at this level, success always brings criticism. But Shedeur isn’t fazed. And why? Well, because of his father. When asked about dealing with doubters, Shedeur made it clear he’s built for this moment: “You think I’m worried about what critics say? You know who my dad is? They hated on him, too.”

Growing up as the son of NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, Shedeur has seen firsthand what it takes to rise above the noise. Now, as he prepares for the next step, he’s carrying that same mentality—ready to silence the critics once again. For any team willing to take a chance on him, they won’t just be getting a quarterback. They’ll be getting a leader. A competitor. A game-changer. And if history is any indication, Shedeur Sanders isn’t just coming to the NFL—he’s coming to leave his mark.

Where could Shedeur Sanders land up?

As the 2025 NFL Draft draws closer, one of the biggest questions surrounding Shedeur Sanders is: Where will he land? The Colorado quarterback has all the tools—arm talent, accuracy, leadership—but with a loaded QB class, teams will have plenty of options to choose from. One team to keep an eye on is the New Orleans Saints, who have already met with Shedeur at the NFL Combine. With their quarterback situation uncertain, bringing in a young, dynamic leader like Sanders could be a game-changer for them.

Then there’s the Raiders—a team that always finds itself in quarterback discussions. If they don’t land a veteran like Matthew Stafford, they could look to the draft for their next franchise QB. Shedeur’s confidence and playmaking ability would fit right in with the Raiders’ high-profile culture.

The most possible, though, is for Shedeur to join the New York Giants. The Giants need a quarterback, and Shedeur Sanders is definitely on their radar. He’s even hinted at wanting to play for New York. During the East-West Shrine Bowl, he told NFL Network, “Being in this stadium is definitely fun. I know I’ll play here very soon against the Cowboys.” Sounds like a guy ready to wear blue.
