It’s the media and the fans that have made him a big shot. But Shedeur might have thought that enough is enough. He is very much a part of the Colorado Buffaloes and so are his teammates. That’s when he gave the media officials a lesson.

Fans can’t keep their calm for Saturday, December 28. After all, it is THE DAY, the Alamo Bowl. Deion Sanders boys will be facing off against BYU Cougars. And superfan, 101-year-old Peggy Coppom, as promised, will be there on the field to root for her favorite Buffs. Already the suspense meter is high with Peggy’s attendance and the Bowl prediction being Colorado 45, BYU 31. So, obviously, much of the excitement is surrounding Shedeur, who has come to the end of his college football career. But that doesn’t mean that you would always have to put him on the pedestal. That’s because even Shedeur is upset about getting the undivided attention when he has some immensely talented Colorado team teammates. Maybe the Buffs QB was planning to vocalize his beliefs for quite a long time now. And finally, the day came.
Just before the Alamo Bowl, there was a press conference arranged for some of the Buffs players. No brownie points for guessing, Shedeur definitely was there. With him, there were Jimmy Horn Jr., Will Sheppard, Cam Silmon-Craig, & LaJontay Wester. As usual, questions started dropping in for Deion Sanders’ son. Even though, Shedeur answered a few of them. But then, BOOM! He finally had to take a stand. “By the way you know I got a lot of teammates up here too,” Shedeur dropped the bomb.
It’s obvious that in a team everyone should be getting attention when they are sharing the same stage. Shedeur got upset after getting the VIP treatment and continued, “I just said ’cause they wouldn’t have come if it was just about me. It was pointless for them to come.” While tried to mask his frustration with his iconic ear-to-ear grin so as not to come off as rude. But deep down, he was a bit embarrassed for always stealing the spotlight from his buddies. So what happened? Shedeur is tired of enjoying the limelight 365 days, 24 X 7? People are going to pamper him extra now that he is leaving Boulder.

Shedeur Sanders got a humble surprise
It’s the holiday season and the time to be merry! The spirits are running high in Deion’s squad as well. Ahead of the Alamo Bowl, they thought of having fun with the team. Now, we know the Colorado players are all grown-ups, but who wouldn’t like some gifts to end this year on a happy note? So, it was time for the Secret Santa ritual!
Well, lucky was the one who was Shedeur’s Secret Santa. Gifting him is no tough task. After all, everyone knows how the Buffs QB has a thing for watches. He has quite a few. And obviously they are not the ordinary ones. Shedeur owns a customized Audemars Piguet (AP) Royal Oak 15500. The exclusive piece retails at $27,800. But on that, Deion’s son added some customized touch that features 30 carats of VVS diamonds and is valued at around $70,000. However, this time he got a humble gift.

Known for his $5.1 million NIL value, Shedeur Sanders lit up the room while he unwrapped the gift box. It had a quirky neon-colored Casio G-Shock. Later it was revealed that the Buffs’ second-year backup quarterback Colton Allen was Shedeur’s Secret Santa. Was Shedeur upset? Not at all. For him, it’s the care and not the cost that matters. Now what are friends unless and until they keep you grounded?
