After a head-to-head battle of 38-31 against the Baylor Bears last week, the Colorado Buffs are determined to take every possible advantage over the UCF Knights in their upcoming showdown. Shedeur Sanders made it crystal clear in his recent statement that they will make the most of every chance the Knights provide them in their upcoming match. However, looking at the chances of uncertainties in football, it’s hard to predict any team’s mistakes. But Shedeur’s opinion on this is quite surprising.
On September 24th, Shedeur Sanders and his teammate Jimmy Horn Jr. had a chat on Shedeur’s YouTube channel, ‘2Legendary. The duo were discussing turning UCF’s mistakes in their favor. Following which Shedeur said, “A lot of stuff we missed on last week—we can’t afford to do that this week. That was our grace period, our learning moment last week. So now, you know, we gotta make sure we understand that and take full advantage of everything they’re giving us.”
Even Jimmy added to it following the same notion, saying, “Just if they’re giving us some short, just take what they give us, and that’s how we’ll be able to beat them.”

Looking back at the UCF Knights’ game against TCU, it’s possible the Buffs might have a shot against them. At one point, it seemed like UCF winning was out of the question, especially with the second half starting rough.
But the Knights made an impressive comeback from a 21-point deficit. Jefferson connected with Kobe Hudson for a 20-yard go-ahead touchdown with just 36 seconds left, sealing a dramatic 35-34 win. Now, we’ll just have to wait and see if Shedeur can pull off something similar while against the Knights. For now, he can enjoy the last-minute success he had over Baylor.

Shedeur Sanders’ match-winning action against the Bears is the talk of the town. The craze is still pretty high on his 43-yard-long Hail Mary pass to wide receiver LaJohntay Wester, who caught it toward the end zone. Even Coach Prime couldn’t process his happiness after the matchup. He praised Shedeur and the entire team for their consistent effort, saying, “I don’t condone how the students ran out, but I absolutely love every last minute of it.” “It was one of the most beautiful things I ever witnessed in my life.” Well, indeed, it was quite magical!
However, even after such game-changing moments, there were certain setbacks in their gameplay against the Bears. Even media analyst Joel Klatt had a strong opinion on their gameplay. “It’s still a combination of poor play by their offensive line and Shedeur holding the football. Shedeur Sanders has got to throw the football quicker. He holds it way too long,” he said. Well, moving forward, they can’t afford such mistakes. Their opponents are already standing on a 3-0 winning streak with impressive offense and defense in the game. If the Buffs successfully tackle their shortcomings, who knows, they might qualify for the playoffs this season.
