February 7 is finally here! The date is indeed special for both the Colorado Buffaloes family and the Sanders fam. After all, it’s their favorite QB Shedeur Sanders’ birthday. The Buffs QB turned 23 this year and is all ready to leave dad Deion Sanders’ nest to spread his wings flying to the NFL. When it’s Shedeur, the celebrations have to be like the QB says, “LEGENDARY,” right?

Well, we are yet to know how grand the party will be that his family will throw, but Shedeur has some pictures on his mind about the birthday gift. Not from everyone but from his dad. However, it’s going to be a tough assignment for Deion to pick a gift for his son. After all, his son has set the bar high by gifting him a $70k gift.

Shedeur Sanders can’t wait to unwrap Papa Prime’s gift

Birthdays are always a grand thing in the Sanders fam. However, this year it’s going to be extra special as Shedeur is going to step into a new milestone, that’s the NFL. Already, Deion has ensured to make the transition process a smooth one. Do you know that the Buffs HC had turned his backyard into a small gridiron? Yes, Deion’s house in Boulder now has a new turf field for his sons Shedeur and Shilo to practice from the comfort of their home. But looks like, the Buffs QB is expecting something grander as his 23rd birthday present from Papa Prime.

On the 2Legendary with Shedeur Sanders podcast, Darius Sanders asked him about his birthday plans, “What’s the vibes, bro?” Turned out Shedeur still had the excitement of a kid. He immediately replied, “I’m just excited to see what dad’s going to give me cause I got him an AP on his last birthday. So I’m just waiting on my gifts.” The conversation continued with Darius bringing to light how Deion had claimed to have received his gift 6 months late. To which the Buffs QB replied, “I gave it to him early cause I don’t like holding gifts or holding secrets especially if I spend all that on.”

Yes, it definitely has been a costly gift that Shedeur presented to his father on his 57th birthday. Being a connoisseur of luxury watches himself, the Buffs QB could not think of a better gift. The timepiece was identified as a Royal Oak Self-winding Chronograph. The exclusive piece was valued at $76,730 back in July. Now Deion would have to reach Shedeur’s level in the gifting game. Coach Prime has already started the planning.

Shedeur’s birthday lands Deion Sanders in a sticky spot

Well, that man might be handling a whole college football program being self-sufficient. But when it comes to gifting his kids on their birthday, Deion’s confidence takes a backseat. As the Buffs HC ran short of ideas, he knew where to seek help. What better place to run for help than his 5.1 million family on Instagram? On Shedeur’s birthday, the Buffs HC released a video on IG. Deion had a message, “I need y’all to help to pick what I should get for Shedeur and Shilo for their birthdays. Today is Shedeur’s birthday. And the 9th is Shilo’s birthday.”

That’s when the father of five made a bold claim, “Matter of fact Shedeur is my favorite son, today is his birthday.” However, given the current situation, Shedeur might lose his spot in Papa Prime’s list of favorites. Wondering why? Well, Deion has been very protective about his kids’ careers. Now that his sons will move on to the NFL, he has made himself very clear where he would not like to see them.

He envisions Shedeur and Shilo joining an “ideal” program, a well-run franchise with a sound track record of developing rookie quarterbacks. In that list, the Cleveland Browns get struck off.  That’s because, since 1999, only two quarterbacks have played a full season for the Browns. However, the NFL giant now holds the No.2 pick which is likely to be too alluring for Shedeur to resist.

The plot starts to thicken here. Cleveland’s star defensive end, Myles Garrett stunned the world with his trade request. Right after that, the Buffs QB came up with a cryptic post and wrote, “Legendary.” One wrong step and Shedeur might go from favorite child to family outcast—Coach Prime doesn’t take disobedience lightly. Well, Shederur’s sister Shelomi stands as the best example.
