Shedeur Sanders didn’t throw at the Combine. That’s not news. Most quarterbacks with first-round tape and real leverage don’t. What’s more interesting is how quickly the league, and the media around it, still spins that into a character question. On tape, the tools are there. He’s got the arm. He sees the field. He took a beating all year and still played clean football. What’s harder to pin down is how much of the mess is around him. Bad protection, a top-heavy scheme, and a zero-run game clouded his habits. You see flashes of big-time quarterbacking, then you see the occasional overextension or hero-b-ll decision. It’s hard to separate what’s instinct from what’s survival.
But does that mean your draft stock should take a nosedive?
No Colorado fan would admit that Shedeur’s mouth and antics during a game aren’t a loose cannon. He never holds back, and this IG story from Shedeur? Instant throwback to his raw, unapologetic vibe. Remember the NDSU game? Shedeur and Travis Hunter were racking in numbers for the Buffs. Every connection was perfect, until one wasn’t. Hunter gets grabbed by the DB and misses the touchdown, and Shedeur unloads on him. “Shut up, catch the first one,” the QB said. Hunter tried to explain what went wrong, but Shedeur? Well, he wasn’t having any of it: “I don’t give a f—, catch it.” To many, this interaction might seem like “bad leadership,” but was it really?

The very next time Shedeur lodges another b-ll at Travis, despite being grabbed one again, dude catches it and it’s touchdown Colorado. We do not expect everyone to understand tough love, but in Shedeur’s case, you have to try. He’s been ballin’ with Travis for years—he knows what that two-way beast is capable of. And let’s be real, sometimes all it takes is the right push… and Shedeur ain’t dumb enough to not shove Travis straight into greatness.
This sums up the supposed “personality problems,” we’d also like to quote what Emmanuel Acho said on The Facility that elaborates on the Shedeur Sanders dilemma; “So when Shedeur Sanders comes off as confident, comes off as secure, comes off as knowing who he is, you, insecure, dictate his security as something that’s an issue.”
Buffs fans know the deal—sure, once Shedeur steps over into that franchise QB spotlight, he’ll need to dial it down a notch. But let’s not kid ourselves, if there’s anyone who can balance the swagger and the spotlight, it’s him. And that’s exactly what makes Shedeur one of the most intriguing catches in the entire NFL Draft class—swagger, mindset, and 45-yard last-second Hail Mary’s to back it all up.
What’s your perspective on:
Is Shedeur Sanders' confidence a sign of greatness or just plain arrogance?
Have an interesting take?
But then again, will all of it be enough for him to tackle a 13k-yard threat?

It’s safe to say that the whole country is divided on where they want to put Jaxson Dart. Some fans call him the real No.1 QB in the draft class. Others cannot get over his poor last-minute decision-making skills. Blessone, however, thinks something completely different.
“Jaxson Dart, who’s over here by me, he will be getting drafted before Shedeur Sanders,” DJ Blessone confessed on College Football Sports with IsmokeHiphop Live. When we first heard this, it took us a few minutes to wrap our heads around it. Who on earth would think Dart gets the slice of the cake before Shedeur?

Well, Blessone had some facts to back up his claim. “Jaxson Dart, prior to this three-month period, just like every situation when it comes to the draft—he was predicted a two-day draft pick at best,” DJ pointed out. A few subtle shifts here and there, and suddenly you see teams talk a lot about Dart over Shedeur.
Now this shift is something many haven’t noticed before. Out of nowhere, the giants in the NFL are running behind the “overlooked” player instead of the “hyped up talent”. Could this change actually result in toppling Shedeur’s empire? We think fans won’t think so.
Despite the sudden rise in hype for Dart, Shedeur is still the better quarterback. You talk arm talent, accuracy, or speed, Shedeur comes in first. On top of that, Shedeur’s mastered split-second reads. Two years behind an O-line softer than a wafer? That’ll sharpen your instincts real quick—and he’s made it work.

Say what you want, but this draft battle’s hotter than a Sunday BBQ roast with uncles arguing over beers and busted brackets.
