Colorado’s quarterback, Shedeur Sanders, wrapped up his college football season on a bittersweet note. The Buffaloes faced a tough 36-14 loss to BYU in the Alamo Bowl, and while Shedeur had been making headlines all season for his exceptional gameplay, the question loomed: what happened in this crucial game? Could this loss impact his future?

Unfortunately, the game didn’t just end with a disappointing score; it also left Shedeur nursing a knee injury. In the closing minutes of the contest, he suffered what he described as a “bad cut” on his knee. On the latest episode of his 2Legendary podcast, he opened up about the injury and NFL draft rumors. He revealed how uncomfortable the injury has made his daily life. “I just got a bad cut on my knee. Now, my whole, I’m just to the knee right now. So I just got a bad cut on my knee and I put nothing on it and it still hurts. When I put on pants, it’s leaking. I don’t know. Bro, it’s a cut, so it hurts in the worst place possible.”

Despite this setback, fans are buzzing with curiosity about Shedeur’s future and where he might land in the upcoming NFL Draft. Even though he played what many consider his worst game of the season against BYU, throwing for only 208 yards along with two touchdowns and two interceptions, he is still seen as one of the top prospects for the 2025 NFL Draft, likely to be the first passer off the board.

I haven’t really been on Twitter or anything like Instagram, social media-wise, because it’s just, well, one is negativity but two, it’s just like, bro, I’m not going to value nobody’s opinion.” Ahh, he made it clear that he wants his performance throughout the season to speak for him.
