Colorado Buffaloes WITHOUT Deion Sanders, unimaginable, right!? Maybe that’s why the Buffs fans have already gone into panic mode. So how could the Buffs QB Shedeur Sanders see their fans in pain? Already every other day, one or the other NFL giant’s name pops up trying to lure Deion away from Boulder. But hey Buffs fans, you can have your good night’s sleep now that assurance came from a reliable source, right from Deion’s son, Shedeur. Going by the buzz, two programs- Las Vegas Raiders and Dallas Cowboys will be having a tough fight to land Coach Prime. But a CFB insider revealed how Deion’s “ego” will close the gates for him in the NFL.

To swap or not to swap, that’s the question. Well, we can see how difficult it is going to be for Deion once this college football season drops its curtains. The man who has built the program from rags to riches already has given away a large part of his heart to the Buffs. The parts are his sons Shedeur, Shilo, and Colorado’s dual-threat Travis Hunter. Now that this season marks the last chapter of the trio in college football, they will be carrying the pieces of Deion’s heart while transitioning to the NFL. In this way, Deion would be left back with all the shattered pieces and an empty heart. So it is highly likely that the Buffs HC would also follow them. But looks like the plan is not on anymore. On the 2Legendary with Shedeur Sanders podcast, co-host Darius Sanders dropped an important question for the Buffs QB, “RS Devin asks will Coach Prime stay after you and Shilo, and Travis leave?”

To which Shedeur did not waste even a split second before answering. He replied, “Yeah, Dad’s there for sure.” But what about the offers from the top shots in the NFL? For instance, just when people thought that Shedeur was going to be drafted by the Las Vegas Raiders, suddenly Dallas Cowboys too entered the conversation. As per the rumors, Jerry Jones’ program had offered a “package deal” for the father-son duo that obviously would be difficult for Deion to resist. However, we must not forget what the CFB insider said about the chances.

The big ‘Deion Sanders Transition’ debate

Now that the 2024 season for college football is hitting the end notes, the chances of the Deion x NFL collab have got way more intense. So on the Dan Patrick Show, the host Dan Patrick along with his guest, ex-Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Chris Simms thought of deconstructing the chances. The ex-NFL signal-caller had no second thoughts about Coach Prime stepping into the NFL. As he said, “I think Deion Sanders is made more for the NFL than he is for college football.” He then pointed out the reason why he thinks Coach Prime is the right fit for the NFL.

What’s your perspective on:

Will Deion Sanders' ego keep him at Colorado, or is the NFL his true calling?

Have an interesting take?

“Deion wants to lead. He wants to get the guys ready, he wants to walk in the meeting room and go ‘Wait, we can’t do this, that’s stupid, stupid. Let’s do that, that, and that,” clarified Simms. But about Patrick? Well, the analyst is super sure that Deion in the NFL, this combination is not going to work. The reason?

The CFB insider pointed out something interesting, “I think his ego is plated that ‘Oh my God they’re coming to play for me not Colorado they’re coming to play for me.” Okay, if you still don’t trust the analyst’s take, now you know whom to trust. After all, who better to offer reassurance than Shedeur, Deion’s own son and the Buffs’ QB?
