These two—the Colorado Buffaloes and Cleveland Browns—are on completely different tracks. Deion Sanders took over a one-win Buffaloes squad and turned them into a four-win team in 2023. Fast forward to this season, and they’ve skyrocketed to nine wins. Meanwhile, the Cleveland Browns are heading in the opposite direction. A team that once thrived on a dominant defense, led by sack machine Myles Garrett—who topped the NFL with 22 tackles for loss—has seen its playoff hopes crash and burn. From a six-loss season to a staggering 14-loss campaign, the Browns are spiraling. And now, the unthinkable—Garrett reportedly asked for a trade on Monday.

With Cleveland seemingly on the verge of a rebuild, one question looms large: every reset needs a franchise quarterback. Enter Shedeur Sanders. Could he be the spark to ignite the Browns’ next chapter?

Shedeur is turning heads as one of the top QBs in the upcoming NFL draft. With the Browns holding the No. 2 pick, they’re in a perfect spot to land their future QB. However, rumors have swirled about Deion possibly blocking the move, but Shedeur’s latest remarks show he’s open to Cleveland. Can the Browns draft a big-name QB?

Well Off Forever shared a clip on Instagram showing a small group of Browns fans hitting the streets after Myles Garrett requested a trade. Garrett, after eight seasons with the Browns, cited his “desire to win” as the reason for the trade demand. But these fans weren’t just letting off steam; they had a unique spin on their protest. They threw Shedeur’s signature watch flex into the mix and blasted his hit, “Perfect Timing.” Then, in true Shedeur fashion, the QB broke his silence with just one word. Coincidence? Or is the QB sending a message?

Shedeur took to his IG story, sharing one simple word: “Legendary,” paired with the hashtag #wristup. But it wasn’t just Shedeur who had something to say. His brother, Deion Sanders Jr., joined in on X, declaring, “Cleveland has spoken!” The Browns have already met with Shedeur at the Shrine Bowl, and GM Andrew Berry has been praising the CU QB. Could this be the start of something special in Cleveland?

What’s your perspective on:

Can Shedeur Sanders be the savior the Cleveland Browns desperately need, or is it too late?

Have an interesting take?

Shedeur is a really impressive young man. He’s poised. He’s calm. And He’s smart, and you can tell that he’s been raised by — quite honestly — a Hall of Fame dad. We’re going to get to know him even more over the course of the spring, but he’s really impressive,” said Berry. Well, Shedeur’s NFL fate is just a few months away, but the big question now is: will the Browns actually trade Myles Garrett?

Will the Cleveland Browns accept Myles Garrett’s request?

Myles Garrett has officially made his move—requesting a trade from the Browns. In a statement shared by NFL Insider, Garrett made it clear: he wants a fresh start before the 2025 NFL season kicks off. The plot thickens!

Garrett stated, “While I’ve loved calling this city my home, my desire to win and compete on the biggest stages won’t allow me to be complacent. The goal was never to go from Cleveland to Canton; it has always been to compete for and win a Super Bowl. With that in mind, I have requested to be traded from the Cleveland Browns.”

Garrett, 29 YO, just wrapped up another dominant season—his seventh straight with double-digit sacks, including four with 14 or more. A five-time Pro Bowler, four-time first-team All-Pro, and the reigning AP NFL Defensive Player of the Year, his accolades speak volumes. But Browns GM Andrew Berry is standing firm: “You can put that on the record“—Garrett isn’t leaving, not even for two first-round picks. The Browns are eyeing an extension here.

Meanwhile, the Browns have quarterback problems, too. Deshaun Watson, despite signing a massive 5-year, $230 million contract in 2022, has been plagued by season-ending injuries and off-field allegations. Shedeur seems like a potential answer to this troubled team, which has question marks on both offense and defense. But the Browns definitely don’t look like a good fit for a quarterback like Shedeur. And Deion Sanders has previously said there are a “couple of teams that I won’t allow him to play for.” Will the Browns be one of those, considering Shedeur’s best interests?
