Could Shedeur Sanders be the savior the Cowboys desperately need after Jerry Jones' string of 'oops'?

This guy is playing mind tricks at this point. Shedeur Sanders for the 2025 NFL Draft has been a hot topic. A few days back, Mel Kiper managed to stir the pot when he suggested that Shedeur would be the QB1 for the 2025 draft. You might think that Kiper is losing his mind by placing Shedeur in the 1st spot and someone like Cam Ward in the 2nd spot. But here is the thing: Kiper ain’t that wrong. Shedeur Sanders is not a bad QB. He already has around 30 touchdowns and only 7 interceptions under his belt. But now, you’re gonna ask, “Well, then which team will pick him?”. That is a complicated question, and we don’t have a straight answer. But what we do have is a theory.

Pat McAfee raised a very good point a few days back. He mentioned on his show that Shedeur often tweets out “Thank you GOD” whenever the Raiders lose a game. Now, this sent the entire on a whole spiral, and we ate the bait as well. The Raiders are not a bad choice. Deion Sanders and Antonio Pierce already have a good connection, and Shedeur will fit in just fine with the Raiders. However, this entire theory and goose chase might be fake from the start. Today, the Raiders lost 19-29 to the Broncos, and Shedeur dropped his iconic tweet. But wait this time, Shedeur tweeted out right at the kickoff at 6:07 pm.

This ordeal pretty much puts McAfee’s theory to rest and Shedeur’s entire secret pact with Raiders down the drain as well. See, it’s not like he doesn’t want to go to Las Vegas. Deion Sanders himself had mentioned way back during an interview that Shedeur “would love to play” for Pierce.

Even the Raiders fans want this guy. Back when the Aces clashed with Liberty in WNBA, Shedeur had a brief talk with Raiders owner Mark Davis. Now, some interesting lines were exchanged during this “talk”, and one such was Davis telling Shedeur, “Who knows, you might be home right now.”

This kind of managed to send the entire fanbase into a wild frenzy, asking for a QB change in Vegas. But, sorry to be the spoilsport, it feels like another team has a much bigger shot at landing the QB than the Raiders. And you know it is real when Paul Finebaum, out of all the people, is begging for the gamble to happen.

Shedeur Sanders is off to Dallas

What’s your perspective on:

Could Shedeur Sanders be the savior the Cowboys desperately need after Jerry Jones' string of 'oops'?

Have an interesting take?

Ah, yes, the Cowboys. Let’s start an “oops” meter for the number of bad decisions Jerry Jones had made for the Cowboys. Giving Dak Prescott a deal worth over $200 million (oops). Losing Prescott because of his season-ending injury (oops). Not taking in Derrick Henry because Jones didn’t want to spend more money (oops). Henry is proving to be a massive win for the Ravens (oops). Finally, Mike McCarthy leading the Cowboys to a 4-7 season (oops).

5 “oops” later, you would start praying that Jones realizes the mistake he has made. What the Cowboys need desperately is a change in their offense. And who could be a better option than Shedeur Sanders? Let’s weigh the odds. Jones loses on a veteran QB but at the same time gains a much younger and talented guy who costs less and doesn’t choke as often as Prescott does.

Not a bad pick, after all, huh? It ain’t no wonder why Finebaum, Stephen A Smith, and Rex Ryan are all in for the Shedeur and Deion package deal for the $11 billion NFL switch. Now, will this happen? We do know that Coach Prime ain’t leave the Buffs anytime soon, but Shedeur making it to the Cowboys is still a big possibility.
