It’s not easy to pick a favorite sibling. Like Shedeur Sanders said, each sibling has unique traits and contributes differently. So, choosing a favorite could depend on the prevailing situation of that person. But in the Sanders’ household, Deion Sanders always has a favorite. And even when he feels indecisive, the Colorado Buffs QB thinks that there’s one among them who’s the unrivaled MVP right now.
Shedeur Sanders appeared on the 2Legendary with Shedeur Sanders on November 20 alongside Colorado WR Drelon Miller. In the new YouTube episode, he asserted that he’s his “own favorite sibling” but not without shining the spotlight on his younger sister Shelomi Sanders. He said, “I think right now, my dad’s favorite is my little sister cause she went out there and she scored some points at her game. I think she’s the favorite right now.”
It’s time to let Shelomi Sanders shine after her rift with Deion Sanders on account of her transfer to Alabama A&M from Colorado. She proved she made the right decision when she smashed Oakwood 96-50 in her debut game in early November by recording 14 points, two steals, one block, and one rebound in just 10 minutes. Later, Coach Prime did the expected by hyping his Bossy on social media saying, “I’m SO PROUD OF MY BABYGIRL!”

What about Shedeur Sanders, though? After all, he’s one of the main guys responsible for that big 49-24 win against Utah. But the 22-year-old knows he messed up as he said, “I started off the game with a pick so I know I’m not the favorite right now.” Everyone who watched the Colorado vs Utah game would know how Shedeur Sanders gave them a bad first impression when he threw an interception on the very first play from scrimmage. But that didn’t taint the Buffs as they hit a new high with their stellar win.
Colorado continues their push for the Big 12 title
The last win against Utah doubled Colorado’s wins from last season as they now lead 8-2. After his first blunder, Shedeur Sanders managed to turn things around by completing 30 of 41 passes for 340 yards and three touchdowns for the win. With this win, they’re now ranked on No. 16 in the latest AP Poll rankings, their highest since 2016.
Deion Sanders chose to keep his guard up after the Utah win saying, “Our expectations aren’t your expectations. We focus on one game at a time.” Only two games against Kansas and Oklahoma State remain which will be a major determiner for their Big 12 hopes which could cement their playoff chances. Can Colorado keep up with the momentum and shock the college football world with their resilience and determination?
