Is Ryan Williams the next Julio Jones? Alabama fans, what do you think?

Despite managing a win against USF, the Alabama Crimson Tide garnered attention and so much backlash. It was kind of “wake-up call’ for Alabama. And looking at today’s game between Alabama and Wisconsin, it looks like they will not wait till the fourth quarter to take charge of the game like they did last Saturday. Kalen DeBoer’s young prodigy, 17-year-old WR Ryan Williams, is making waves through his power-packed performances and fans are gaga over him.

A page called ‘Alabama Outsider’ on ‘X’ posted an interesting tweet. “Julio Jones to Nick Saban as Ryan Williams is to Kalen Kalen DeBoer,” they wrote as a caption for the images of Ryan Williams and Julia Jones. He compared both players, Julio Jones, who played wide receiver under Nick Saban. The same goes for Ryan Williams, the young prodigy who is emerging to be an effective weapon in Kalen DeBoer’s arsenal. After a spectacular Week 1 performance, Ryan Williams is here for DeBoer again, helping Bama go ahead with a touchdown off Jalen Milroe’s perfect pass in the first quarter against Wisconsin in their Week 3 match-up.

At the start of the third quarter, the Crimson Tide are currently leading over Wisconsin by  3-28. After a rather equal first quarter, Kalen DeBoer’s boys have taken over the game. It’s TDs galore for Bama boys. It isn’t proving to the tough match-up that many predicted it to be. The first score for Bama came through a perfect pass from Jalen Milroe to Ryan Williams. In the second quarter, Milroe walked in for a touchdown on a third and goal.

For some time, Wisconsin took charge of the pigskin, but soon, Zabien Brown made a recovery and gave back the pig skin to Crimson Tide. Twenty minutes down in the game, Jalen Milroe threw for another wonderful touchdown. This time, Germie Bernard caught a 26 yard pass. That sequence had everything DeBoer wants from his offense. A 47-yard pass to Williams followed by Bernard’s TD. No hope for Wisconsin who are already missing their quarterback Tyler Van Dyke since he went off injured in the first quarter.
