Is Ryan Williams the next big thing in hockey, or is the hype too soon?

What comes to your mind when we say Ryan Williams? A recap of his journey to become the talk of the town since his first day at practice when he wore pads and said, “I felt it in my ribs,” till Bama’s first matchup in college football season against Kentucky. Afterward, he never looked back.

Recording 2 receptions for 139 yards and 2 touchdowns, including an 84-yard and a 55-yard catch in the first game, to total 4 receptions for 78 yards and a touchdown in the game against Wisconsin, Williams has evolved day by day. But curious what your favorite receiver does while not on the field? Clicking pictures with pretty girls. Yeah, that’s right. Ryan Williams posed with two of his friends from the Alabama women’s hockey team before their crucial matchup.

A 17-year-old has been stealing the show with his back-to-back hits for the Alabama Crimson Tide. Once again, Ryan Williams has created headlines, not for his football games but for his love for hockey. He posed with Bama’s hockey players, Morgan Grybowski and Keara Duffany. When Alabama posted this picture on its Instagram, people went crazy. Morgan, a Bama girls’ team hockey player, commented, “Coach Williams,” followed by a “soon” written emoji while teasing him. ” Keera’s comments read, “Ryan Williams hockey debut.” She cracked a joke, which started a series of fans commenting the same.

Alabama chose a caption hinting at their hockey team’s matchup with High Point University at the Pelham Civic Complex on September 21st, writing, Puck drop in less than 1 hour! 🐐 #RollTide #FrozenTide. If we look closer at the picture, all three of them are wearing Bama’s black and red jersey. All smiling. Don’t we all believe Bama’s women’s hockey team’s jerseys are cooler among them all? There is no other say in that.

Well, Williams didn’t just hang out with his hockey buddies. He actually dropped the first puck for Alabama’s game! We’ll have to wait and see if he’ll do any more hockey stuff, but for now, his football moves are the hot stuff in town.

After a bombarding performance in the three games of the season, Ryan Williams is all set to meet Georgia in their next matchup. Kalen DeBoer must be proud of his coaching seeing Williams. One of the remarkable moments from the past three games would be when he caught a splendid pass from Alabama’s star quarterback, Jalen Milroe, in the third week’s game against the Wisconsin Badgers and filed up his fame. Alabama is heading toward a bye week before facing its biggest rival, the Georgia Bulldogs.

While Ryan Williams is pulling up his socks for the next matchup, Georgia’s Kirby Smart is also aware of what Ryan can deliver. During the SEC coach’s teleconference on Wednesday, Kirby Smart acknowledged his awareness of Ryan Williams and commented, “He is extremely talented.” He came over and saw us several times. He’s a delightful personality. He’s fun to be around and a great kid,” talking about the time when Williams took a visit to Georgia. However, the WR later committed to DeBoer’s Alabama following Saban’s exit.

Besides that, Ryan Williams shared his thoughts on the rivalry between Georgia and Alabama, calling it a “really big rivalry” and expressing that he understands the importance of this game. Furthermore, he showcased enthusiasm in playing the game but also called Georgia a “no. 1 team” and he explained that despite the fact Georgia is an elite program in college football, they are going to do what they do!
