Travis Hunter continues to turn the tide in college football. Bouncing back a mid-season injury hiccup like a pro, Colorado’s two-way star showed the world why the surrounding him is second to none. The coach Prime’s favorite racked up 69 receptions for 856 yards and nine TDS on offense and 20 tackles, seven passed, two INIs, and a forced fumble on defense ahead of week 12. Whereas, the expedition against the Utes added three tackles, a pass (defended), and five grabs for 5 yards under his belt, making a strong case for the ongoing Heisman race. At the same time, his NFL potential has a dance of its own. The suitors, please take notice! Hunter isn’t a catch to miss. But then the big question that lingers: what will be his role in the NFL? Will he fit the shoe in a CB or a WR?
New England Patriots, the most talked about NFL destination for Hunter, must droll over the thoughts of having the 21-year-old prodigy in Foxboro, Mass. But again, the crucial point is to decide where they should use him on the offense or defense. Patriots need a No.1 Wide Receiver and it’s true that Hunter perfectly fits the bubble. But whether it will be a wise call for Eliot Wolf and his staff to place Hunter in the WR spot, it would be quite favorable for Hunter. I mean, just look at the financial tempt! ‘‘Just from a dollar and cents perspective I think he’s going to want to play wide receiver for the New England Patriots he’s the number one type of wide receiver Prospect,” said CBSSports Mike Renner.

The franchise value of the New England Patriots rose to a whopping 7.4 billion U.S. dollars from the previous year’s total of seven billion U.S. dollars, and there is a heightened scope for Hunter to fluff his pocket as a wide receiver.
‘‘You look at contracts for wide receivers far outpace that of quarterbacks even if you’re not like a Top Flight guy, you’re still making more than Patrick Surtain who is you know the highest-paid quarterback in football,” Renner weighed more in the big fat paycheck lure.
Travis Hunter will not be able to live up to his two-way star tag in NFL, whatsoever. The physical tenacity the national league demands is outright double what he does at the Buffs camp. But Hunter has his own sweet fantasy to match up to.

Travis Hunter has a storybook vision for his NFL role
The young Colorado sensation has widely been hyped as a potential No.1 NFL draft pick for the year 2025 with the Patriots sitting at his top choice. But when it comes to the position, Hunter would like to remain the two-way star. The kid said if he is given a say, he will continue to make an impact on both ends of the ball and take his team higher in all forms.
As half of the world believes, Hunter himself also agrees that his USP factor lies in the fact that he possesses the rare ability to play at the versatile position as a player, and for obvious reasons, he doesn’t like to let it fade as it gives him a flair to challenge his limits and exceed expectation each day. But seeing the monetary figure in the latest analysis, he might give a second thought to his long-standing vision.

Still and all, Hunter can add stacks both as a CB and a WR. Since the Patriots already have a solid strength at corner catering to 2023 first-round pick Christian Gonzalez, Hunter’s addition will make it a force to be reckoned with for sure.
On the flip side, he can give legitimate support to rookie QB Drake May in the offense. Only time will unveil what awaits the Colorado Buffs’ legend ahead on the road in his rousing NFL future.
