“This offense has a chance to be very, very explosive.” That’s an understatement coming from you, Ryan Day. Can someone explain why Will Howard couldn’t cut it into the Heisman finalist list? Keep that Michigan game outside. Bucks just weren’t too confident in that one. However, the Ducks game? “I still have nightmares about that play.” Do you, Will Howard? Because the way you threw those dimes against Oregon proved that you were ready to take an axe and chop the No.1 team from their spot. 3 passing touchdowns with over 300 yards. Zero interceptions and no bad turnovers. The north is here, and they are now the frontrunners of the natty.

But hey, with great power, come great responsibilities!! “He’s grown into the offense and I think he understands that his job is to be the number one leader,” Ryan Day puts his expectations forward before the Cotton Bowl. You beat the strongest defense in the SEC, and then you went on to dethrone the proverbial kings of college football. Now, it is time to deal with the Longhorns.

And while OSU is in great shape, Texas won’t back down without a challenge. See, if anything, the ASU game taught us that Quinn Ewers knows when to step up. He set up massive drives for the Longhorns, and Texas would’ve won the game with ease if Bert Auburn hadn’t missed the final FG.

However, while this ain’t the same Ewers who Texas a 34-24 win over a Nick Saban-led Alabama last season, this is still someone who knows the risks and knows how to make plays. Of course, Coach Sark was all about his team’s spirit after the game. And he is right! You win a close game, you deserve the plaudits. Let’s take the kicker out of the equation for a moment. He had an off night, and that could happen.

However, going into the 4th quarter, who would’ve thought the Longhorns would even need their kicker? It was 24-8, with ASU struggling to barely get a drive going. What happened? One player took over, and the Longhorns defense just forgot to play. Cam Skattebo is a generational talent, but how do you allow him to rush you, catch passes, and even throw for a touchdown? That’s what happened! The defense leaked, and Ewers threw a bad pick, and it was suddenly tied. All in the space of minutes.

Looking at that, Chip Kelly must be licking his lips. However, Howard has to bring his A-game!! Heavy is the head that wears the crown and if Howard chokes against the Longhorns, the Bucks fanbase brutality is going to rip him apart. Still, there is one silver lining for the quarterback and Ryan Day.

Will Howard snubbed for Heisman—Is he the most underrated QB in college football right now?

Have an interesting take?

Treat the Michigan game as a lesson and you will find victory. Chip Kelly did exactly that. Bucks arguably have one of the best running and receiving corps in the entire country, and this power was on full display against the Vols and the Ducks.

No one had a thing for No.4. The 18-year-old prodigy Jeremiah Smith had 2 touchdowns with over 180 yards under his belt. This is his best performance in the entire season. He is already NFL-caliber at this point.

However, he ain’t the only one Steve Sarkisian has to look out for. TreVeyon Henderson and Emeka Egbuka also decimated the gridiron. Emeka started with a massive 42-yard touchdown for the Bucks and Henderson gave us a sight to behind with the 66-yard touchdown run.
