Is Deion Sanders the game-changer the Buffs need to crush the CSU Rams in the showdown?

Week 3 games of college football have so far been thrilling! One-sided encounters, closed games, penalties, TDs galore, Notre Dame’s run game and lighting delays. We have seen everything. Now that the Colorado Buffaloes and Colorado State Rams are looking to get one over each other, the fans of these teams can rest easy before their Rocky Mountain showdown.

The sensational game will get underway in Fort Collins at Canvas Stadium tonight at 5:30. Weather updates suggest that it will be all warm, with temperatures around the 80s. However, by the fourth quarter, a slight upheaval is expected. Weather can turn a bit cloudy with temperatures going downward and winds out of the southeast 5-10 mph. While the initial convenience seems to give the Buffs an early edge over the opponents, it is unlikely to be a big hindrance for the team.

The tension is high, and the chance of the infamous rivalry between coach Deion Sanders and Jay Norvell being reignited after 2029 is very slim. In an ‘end of an era’ kind of situation, both coaches want to have the last laugh with a well-poised lineup. If Norvell gets a chance to reconsider his one call from last year’s game, it would probably be the choice to punt the ball away with a two-minute gap. The Buffs’ game-equalizing touchdown drive at 1:30 in the 4th quarter came off as the killer to the Rams. If the CSU offense had taken a more active role, picking up the first down in the spot, the outcome could have been different. So, this time, Norvell will be ten times more precise and mindful while drawing a choice for the team. For ‘Prime Time,’ this match-up matters a lot, and the injury news may not be favoring his side.

Deion Sanders’ team hampered by injuries

The Rams and the Buffs are going into their Week 3 match-up with a 1-1 record. The Rams were thrashed by the current No. 2 ranked Texas Longhorns in their Week 1 game. However, Norvell’s boys came back to defeat the Northern Colorado Bears in their Week 2 game. The equation is the opposite for Coach Sanders. They managed a victory in Week 1, but Nebraska showed the college football world that Deion Sanders’ team’s hype still doesn’t match with their on-field performance.

Going into their third game, there are challenges galore! Shedeur Sanders must prove that he can perform despite Colorado’s weak offensive line. And there are injuries and plenty of them. Safety Shilo Sanders had to leave the game against Nebraska injured. Since then, he had a medical procedure on his arm and is out for a few weeks. Adding to Deion Sanders’ woes, even DL Chidozie Nwankwo and CB Isaiah Hardge are out tonight. How will the Buffs fare? We will have to wait and watch. The game is about to start.
